We had the good fortune of connecting with Erwin JT Trollinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erwin JT, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Supreme Creative Agency was born out of a community need. My church needed help with marketing and branding, and I begin to hire designers to create graphics and flyers. Once I saw that they were not delivering to the level of excellence we needed, I taught myself graphic design and begin to create all of the church’s flyers.
My desire to produce excellence and professionalism to my local church became popular with other nearby churches and pastors. The demand for my services grew and I had to start the business. 4 years later Supreme has progressed to a full suite of services including graphics, audio, video, streaming and photography.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Starting a company in the middle of a pandemic was a huge risk. I had to leave a 9-5 and solely depend on my business. Having your own business means navigating always having an income, whether its through a retainer or continuous marketing. My risks have resulted from a one man show to a staff of over 10 employees and a consistent revenue base nationwide.
Along the way I have learned patience, dedication, timeliness, and professionalism all attributes of Supreme. As a business owner you want to make sure that you produce. you need certain policies and procedures not only to ensure that you are a good outstanding person but that your business is the same way. Amateurs practice until they get it write, professionals do it until they can’t get it wrong.
My brand is Supreme, when you think of supreme you think of the best, leading in the industry. The definition of supreme is what and who we are, with everything we do.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If JT is taking you at night in New York City, there are a couple place we have to hit. First is the Blue Note, jazz cafe. If Gallagher’s, a steak house is busy, we’re going there or Benny Hahan’s, my favorite spot. You cannot leave NYC without checking out some sort of entertainment whether its a play or a basketball game, and if its Sunday we’re going to church.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God, without him I wouldn’t be here. This is a vision he has given me that I am fulfilling. He gives me ideas, I execute them. God is the center of all that I do.
Elijah Sumo who recommended me for this opportunity. He is not only an inspiration of mine but he is a brother and a colleague.
My spiritual leader, Pastor Andre Cook who has set me on this trajectory to be a successful man, a business man, and God fearing man.
