We had the good fortune of connecting with Emmanuela Rodenberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Emmanuela, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my business because I wanted teach Christian women how to date with marriage in mind and how to choose the right life partner.

Our Mission is to build stronger communities through stronger family units by teaching individuals how to build and maintain strong intimate personal relationships.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In my business @DearEmmanuela I help women of faith discover who they are, so they can in turn choose the right man to spend their lives with. I use Transformational coaching to help women of faith transform behavior patterns, feelings, and mindsets that have led them to having unsuccessful relationships. I help women achieve a state of wholeness, inner-peace and love by getting in alignment with who they are.

I’m most proud of that I’ve been able to learn the skill sets and principles on how to choose a Godly spouse and being a role model for my children of what a healthy marriage looks like. I ‘m excited that I get to teach other women how to do the same, so they can also build strong family legacies.

Starting my business definitely wasn’t easy, but it has been so worth it. I’m very passionate about what I do, but I had to learn how to run a business. I had to hire coaches and other professionals to help me with the things that I didn’t know.

I’ve learned to trust God and walk in Obedience and allow Him to order my steps. I’ve learned not to try to imitate others in similar line of work, it’s best to be yourself and let the people who you are meant to serve find you.
I’ve learned that there are no short cuts, you have to trust the process and be open to how it will all unfold. Sometimes, it’s different than what you were expecting.

I want the world to know that it’s possible to have healthy loving relationships. I want the world to know it’s important to have a solid foundation when you are building a relationship and it’s okay to ask for help if you don’t know how to go about creating one.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had friends visiting I would take them to Falls Park and show them my beautiful downtown. We would grab lunch at the Lazy Goat and then go on the roof top for cocktails.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely want to Shoutout to my Dad (Wilson Prival) who taught me most of what I know about dating and how to choose the right life partner. I also want to Shoutout my mom who passed away in 2013 (Joana Prival) who taught me the importance of family and entrepreneurship. Also my friend Dr. Shaherah Williams for recommending me for this interview
