Meet Elle Brewster | Social Media Manager & CEO of Right Girl Media

We had the good fortune of connecting with Elle Brewster and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elle, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I first started my business I was still working in the restaurant industry. If you know anything about F&B, the amount of free time as a manager is little to none and I was craving the flexibility.
So I was a virtual assistant and my main goal was to create my own schedule and not have a cap on how much I could make! A few months into creating my business I niched down from a Virtual assistant to a Social Media Manager it was like something just clicked.
As a Social Media Manager, I was able to help entrepreneurs of all industries find a routine that works for them. Even if that included having us take over!
Social media can be so overwhelming for business owners and I’m blessed that I have the opportunity to assist other female entrepreneurs create their dream business and brands.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started this business because I realized that I bared more creativity than my Restaurant Management job allotted. I also realized that I was not the only person that felt that. Becoming a Social Media Manager allowed me to be as creative as I wanted while also doing one of my favorite things which is HELPING OTHERS!!
Through Right Girl Media, I help female entrepreneurs like me hone their creativity while assisting entrepreneurs in building their businesses. By bringing on RGM, our clients can focus on their zone of genius and other revenue-generating tasks while we keep the back end of their business on brand and on point! Other than helping our clients, we are creating a space that female creatives can call home.
When it comes to creating your business, imposter syndrome can play a big part in whether you succeed or not. Because I started from basically nothing imposter syndrome definitely slowed me down but I knew this was something I wanted to do so I decided to push through by focusing on what I knew I was good at and what I didn’t know I would be open to learning.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
You can take the girl out the restaurant but not the foodie out of her! My Bestie and I are both Johnson and Wales Graduates and love to eat and drink. We would head to Kalediscope for Brunch (they have bomb Philly cheesesteak eggrolls), do some shopping at Atlantic Station, and stop for happy hour at Hob Nob. Definitely trying to get in shape by walking or skating on the beltline and then getting a bit from Krog Street Market. We like to have fun and get cute so probably head to Puttshake Atlanta before heading to a lounge.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Gosh, this is hard!
I would dedicate my current success to my parents, my partner, my team, and my besties that support me.
