We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth(DrRoz) Rosner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth(DrRoz), can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m from Athens, GA (Go Dawgs!) and my parents taught me never to go into debt for educational costs. As a result, I earned three degrees, including my Ph.D., with only $1000 in loans. Now, I teach families how they can earn a DebtFreeDegree! I can map any degree fully debtfree.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
DebtFreeDegree is a transformative initiative founded on the principle of empowering students to achieve their educational dreams without the burden of financial debt. At the heart of our mission is the belief that education should be accessible and affordable for all, without the looming stress of student loans. Through a combination of educational resources, personalized guidance, and strategic planning, we equip students and their families with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of funding higher education. Our approach is rooted in the values of financial literacy and the cultivation of a mindset geared toward generational wealth and freedom. By fostering a community of informed, debtfree scholars, DebtFreeDegree aims to not only change individual lives but also to inspire a broader shift towards a more equitable and sustainable model of higher education financing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a truly memorable journey through Atlanta, embracing both culinary delights and the spirit of Nonviolence that is so dear to me, here’s an itinerary that touches upon places close to my heart. Begin with a visit to Mary Mac’s Tea Room, an iconic Atlanta restaurant that has been women-owned since the 1940s. This beloved spot is renowned for its freshly made Southern cuisine, offering a taste of tradition and warmth that feels like home. After savoring the comforting flavors of Mary Mac’s, make your way to The King Center, a place I consider my second home. Here, immerse yourself in the profound legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the principles of Nonviolence365, which resonate deeply with my mission and values. The experience is both enlightening and inspiring, reinforcing the importance of leading with love and compassion. Lastly, a visit to the World of Coke adds a unique touch to the day. Despite my numerous visits, the opening movie never fails to move me to tears, capturing the essence of shared moments and universal connections. This itinerary not only showcases my favorite spots in Atlanta but also reflects my passions and the values that guide my life and work.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to SelfPublishing.com!! I am in the midst of publishing my first book, DebtFreeDegree: How to Graduate Without Student Loans While Getting Good Grades, Having Tons of Fun, and Landing Your Dream Job! They have made this process easy and uncomplicated. They have a step-by-step process and my personal coach, Brittany, has been a wonderful beacon for keeping me on track and ensuring I’m meeting benchmarks timely and in the correct order.
