We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want to be remembered by how much I help people. By being a book publisher, I help many authors dreams come true. A lot of people have stories to tell but just don’t know how to translate it to paper, that is why I created Arait Justice Media Group LLC. At Arait Justice Media Group, I help people all over the world achieve their dreams of becoming an author by getting their stories out there especially if it can save the life of a reader. I want people to remember that I aimed to help change the narrative of the literacy arena. A lot of children and adults do not know how to read or write, and I want to help change that. Many people view reading and writing as boring or nerdish, but I want to change that perspective. People do not realize that they actually read every day. Some examples are Stop signs, blogs, and even post on social media. In my legacy, I want to start a non-profit organization in my grandmother’s name, where at this organization, we teach children how to read and write because it starts with our children. Our children are our future and I want to be one of the individuals that leave a legacy with our youth for years and years to come.

What should our readers know about your business?
Elizabeth Roberts is the owner of a Literary media & film company by the name of Arait Justice Media Group LLC. I started my own publishing house in the spring of 2019. Although I grew up being the child of the famous author Zane, I never imagined I would end up in the Book Industry. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. After working various Law jobs in the Washington D.C. area, I decided the law field wasn’t for me and moved to Atlanta, Ga, where I pursued entrepreneurship…and that is how Arait Justice Media Group LLC was born. Arait Justice Media Group is a Literary Media and Production Company. Not only do I publish books, but I make them come to life on the TV screen. Since my startup in 2019, my business has been extremely successful. So far in its lifetime, I have had one of my books featured on “The Real”, I have worked with numerous of celebrities in the Book and film industry and I have done 7 Book trailers and 1 short film. My book trailers/short films are now available on Roku. I have had the pleasure of writing a two-hour feature film which will be coming to theaters soon and I have now helped over 45 authors get published with their books being distributed via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart & More! Some of my popular titles are Pure Thoughts 1 & 2 by Myself and my co-author Shaina Little, Not Mine to Keep by Shawn-Taye, Consensual Deviance by Jabal Black, Sidechickology by Zane, and The Devil’s Stones by Alexxis Jaye and J. Alexander, but that is just to name a few. In addition, I publish all genres including Contemporary Romance, erotica, mystery, poetry books, children’s books & more. Furthermore, I do visual book trailers and short films to go along with the books so that the books stand out against the rest. We are visual beings and when people have the written and visual aspect of a book, it makes the overall experience so much better.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take my friend to the Buckhead strip on a Saturday night so that she can experience the Atlanta nightlife. I would also take her to the trap museum and some great food places like Mary Macs and Busy Bees. In addition, I would go downtown by the Ferris Wheel, and we would experience the lights and take a nice walk by centennial park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mother Kristina “ZANE” Roberts. She has been there every step of the way during my journey with my business.
