We had the good fortune of connecting with Elijah Tyson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elijah, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is the WHY behind my brand. My WHY has been deeper rooted in the impact that I have on my community as I use my platform to cultivate a mindset within Black & Minority Men to understand that they can sustainably upkeep their physical and mental health while building generational wealth.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the Founder of The Grindtribe. The GrindTribe is the #1 Online Coaching Program helping Black & Brown Businessmen & Entrepreneurs Build Muscle, Have More Energy & Dominate Their Confidence. I am most excited about the impact that my business will make to come in the future. I got to where I am at right now by making a lot of heavy investments into my skillsets and personal growth. It was not easy, but I overcame and still overcome the challenges that come with growth by putting faith first and finding alignment in my everyday life. I’ve learned that you have to get knocked down a few times to develop the toughness, power, and certainty sustain when God is ready to give you your major opportunity. I want the world to know that my Brand operates out of a place of passion, purpose, and forward progression.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area I would look to see if there was a local mastermind, retreat, or event happening that pertains to personal growth or their progression. I believe the best experiences come with a transfer of knowledge. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to the love and encouragement of my Coaches Mastermind of J Lopez & Jay Jackson who continue to bring value and innovation to the table to share and grow with each other as Black Coaches despite the fact that we target similar markets.
