Meet Einar Haraldsson | Actor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Einar Haraldsson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Einar, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well it started long time ago. I was in the Icelandic Police and I was invited by LAPD to visit them I stayed there for 6 weeks. Most of my colleagues were Bodyguards for som famously people in Beverly Hills. I was invited to go with them up there in their off days. There I met few big names such as Clint Eastwood—Elton John and very young actress which came to me and talked to me for a long time. This woman is today a world famous actress Sandra Bullock. Every celebrity people I met where so much kind to me and gave me some advice if I leave the Police Force one day and they told me to go into the Acting business.
After I met Sandra Bullock at that time I was very impressed. After few years she contacted me and invited me to be her personal bodyguard which I did. I spend 10 years with her.
These 10 years were my best years ever. I learn many thing from my client Sandra Bullock and she was always ready to give me a hand.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
After I spend my years with Sandra Bullock as a Bodyguard. I quit there after she got married to Jessie James. Me and him didn’t have much trust to each other. Me and Sandra made agreement that I would leave but will still be friends forever. Which we are today.

I went home to Iceland and started first as a Security Guard in the US Embassy in Reykjavík. I spend 10 years there. Then I spend 5 years in. Spain. After I came home again I went to Some Acting classes and there I met few good people who inspired me a lot. Today I love my job as an Actor. and standing front of the camera.
I hope one day I will be the other side of the camera
I have been working hard and have been able to work with many famous actors and actresses from US My movies I have been in are counting around 30 prox. I have been in No Time to Think (Angelo Borer Swiss made action/thriller movie) and two of Rick Groat movies Ride the Wanted Trail and Copperhead Creek) western movies US made. Soon I will be in few others action movies taken in Italy-Spain and around Europe. I will be quite busy next few years but always ready to join anyone worldwide.

I want to give all the young people who are doing acting a little bit advise.

Continue your work and keep it up. Give your self a goal to reach. That is what I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I would take them out and go downtown Reykjavík. There we have many great restaurants. Take them out of city to a place we called Golden Circle. Big waterfalls. Geysers and National Park

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Person who I owe my life which I have now is Sandra Bullock Actress and Ólafur Darri Òlafsson Icelandic actor. These two are my favourite and I have been with Ólafur Darri in a few movies. He is a real friend

Being a Police Office for 20 years gives you a lot of inspiration to life. Unfortunately I have never been a Police Officer or Detective in my movies but I hope that I will some day.

In my ifs I always give my self a goal to reach and I always reach them. Fx 2024 I got an Award in Munich Germany for my role in No Time to Think and my biggest goal is to get an Oscar Academy Award.
