We had the good fortune of connecting with Edward Baxter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Edward, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
To me I wanted to be able to control my own time, not have someone control it for me unless it’s a career I enjoy doing, then I know where I’m going. Starting a business wasn’t a hard decision for me, it’s was more on how to grow the business. I wasn’t good with money management, but would grind to get some money. I open 4 shops all small ones with no business plans for those. I had a formula but it only made but so much. So I add another business called “Linc Up Ent” it is a music entertainment company. I did branding, marketing, studio recording, editing music, collaborations, everything to run that business. I love music and barbering so those was ways to start businesses, sometimes just go for it, sometimes planning is very essential. My thought process started with what I already was doing, just found different levels to increase on. Know how far you want to go with what you doing.

I never like to give up on myself, if I fail it hurts and is discouraging but I have to find another way and not give up.

My brand of whatever business I do is to help others grow who wants to grow a
