We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Musa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eddie, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
Great question, my legacy would be someone who people never stopped not only pursuing his dreams, but accomplishing everything I set out to accomplish. A person who was committed to creating art that benefits not only hisself but his community.

I want people to remember, That I enjoy every minute of life, I find joy in creating opportunities for those who have little to no opportunity. Lastly I want people to know that one of my purposes in this life is to proliferate this world with as much happiness and joy as possible. ALL WHILE MAKING DOPE FILMS and VISUALS.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a filmmaker and event host. We create innovative visual content—conveying black realities, while giving creators a platform to share their experiences with the world. We’ve done short films, commercials and thrown high taste events.

What I’ve learned being in this industry and building this company is that if you want real success you have to fall in love with the process of whatever you are doing because, it isn’t easy. You will face a lot rejection, you will have times where you think it isn’t gonna happen but you can’t dwell on failures or successes.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people. I’m most excited that we have built a strong team who has come together to create some impactful art and events. Just knowing everything we’ve done with less resources than desired makes me very optimistic for our future.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m new to the city but some spots I love are the rum punch brunch, slutty vegan, and the Edgewood area in general

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Wow shoutouts are endless. GOD THE CREATOR, My fly ass wife Dee. My amazing Mother, My pops. and Miss B my sister. My whole MusaMajicTV team. New and Old. My boy Sahr Fanday. My whole village man and anyone who has ever believed.
