We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Everette and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eddie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business is why am I working so hard for others making them money and not being appreciated, when I can use that same energy and work for myself and make money to support me and my family.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am most proud of my “and More” products. They always give me that wow I made that moment and I know if I can wow myself I can wow others. I got to where I am today by practice and researching and trial and error and without all of these I wouldn’t be anywhere but ground zero. Some things were easy some things not so much. and for the challenges that I have overcome I got there by messing up and constant practice until I got it to where I wanted it to be, and for the challenges I have not overcome I will continue practicing and researching until I get it ‘Never Give Up.” I’ve learned have a little patience and its okay to be frustrated but never give up. I work very hard to try and have the best for myself and customers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One of my favorite things to do is eat so depending on the mood we would go to Jalapenos, La Parilla, Longhorns, Olive Garden, Wayback Burgers and similar places. We would go downtown and do a little bar hopping maybe some karoke at McDonough’s., or take a walk around one of the parks : lake mayer, daffin park or Forsyth park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my mom. She always have my back in everything I do. She supports my ideas and creativity. I love her dearly and if wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t have a business, better yet thought to even have a business. She raised us to be strong think for ourselves and also be a goal achiever while making sure that we can do anything we set our minds to.
