We had the good fortune of connecting with EbonyCapri and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi EbonyCapri, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea for my business just before the pandemic hit. I had no idea this was getting ready to happen, however I knew it was time to expand my brand. I’ve always loved all things Beauty industry wise and I felt it was time for me to branch out and have my own products. There is nothing more rewarding as Makeup Artist, having the opportunity to use your own products as you’re creating looks for your clients. I’ve always thought the final touch of any makeup application are the lashes, so I started with the launch of the Eyedealglam Lashes first. I wanted to provide seamless and natural looking lashes to my clients. Ive spoken to several women who had a negative stigma about lashes due to bad experiences or not being able to find natural solutions and I wanted to provide that.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Mother, Military Veteran, Makeup Artist, Beauty Enthusiast, Creative Consultant and Owner of EyeDeal Glam Lashes and cosmetics. I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 14 years and have connected with a plethora of ladies from all different walks of life. I believe women should have access to Luxury personal care services and products that add value to their Lifestyles. My work has been seen on the NBC today Show, 700 club, Hampton Roads Show, and other television platforms, book and magazine covers. I am passionate about servicing ladies; Mind, Body, and Spirit and I love playing fairy “Glam Mother” to enhance their beauty and lifestyles. I am also the Lead Ambassador for a published magazine titled (Beat Magazine), where creatives and artists share their journey and stories of what it’s like to be in the Beauty industry. This magazine has been purchased globally and internationally. I have definitely had to overcome challenges in this industry, from drama, someone stealing from me, and not knowing who to trust, but God has been amazing and restored everything I thought I lost.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ofcourse some Self-Care and pampering would be on the itinerary. We would visit a Spa for massages, manicures, and pedicures. We would get glammed up and maybe find a nice restaurant or lounge with music and enjoy a night out. I love hanging out with people who just have good vibes and those that I can network with.

Honestly I’d just like to thank everyone that has ever supported my business and brand. Without clients and customers trusting your work, your craft and products it’s impossible.
