Meet Ebony Hayes | Creative Director/ Photographer and Brand Owner of E.B Visualz

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ebony Hayes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ebony, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is consistency I would say. If you are consistent in something that you value, you will have a greater return. By continuing anything for a long period of time, you will always flourish. E.B Visualz is a creative brand I started just last summer and since I started I haven’t stop expanding my knowledge on my craft as well perfecting my natural eye for photography. When you ask the most important factor behind my brand, I believe that would be me. If you start anything as an entrepreneur, YOU determine whether or not your business will achieve or fail. The more work and dedication you put in during the beginning, the greater the return will be at the end!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I am most proud and excited about is actually having a business! This has actually been a goal of mine for a very long time, but its even more exciting when you are doing an art you really enjoy. What sets me apart from others, would be my creativity! You’ll be surprise at the concepts and ideas that I come up with in my brain! From being a previous model for years, I have an edge up on being more well-rounded than a traditional photographer. I’m just blessed to have a platform that I can use to visually express my thoughts. On a professional level, my dad had his own business for years until the recession and I picked up a lot of his entrepreneur qualities and leadership traits. A lot of my professionalism comes my mom! At an early age, I was taught the ins and outs of the business world indirectly. Observing both of my parents patterns, allowed my to overcome any challenges that come my way regarding the hurdles of a business. I would want the world to know that E.B Visualz is the face of a female creative photographer who creates a photography experience unlike no other and who is ready to stamp her mark throughout the world!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came for a visit and she was not familiar with Atlanta, I would say the first place I would take her is the Beltline. There is a lot of great scenery around Old Forth Ward Skate Park that will allow you to see what the entire city has to offer. If I had to eat somewhere, I would definitely take her to Houston’s Restaurant in Buckhead for dinner and Toast on Lenox for breakfast. These are two major restaurants that are “must-go’s” when you are in the city of Atlanta. If we hang out, we have to go check out BQE Restaurant and Lounge on Edgewood and Cru Hemp Lounge in Ponce. The vibe for both are unmatched and we would really have a good time!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I would like to make a Shoutout to my parents for being my support system and letting me know that I can do anything I put my mind to! Secondly, I would like to make a shout out to anyone I have every worked with creatively and for business as well. You are a big contribution on why I produce great work to be appreciated! Lastly, I would like to shoutout BuiltbyJBstudios for mentoring me on learning the basics of photography and for continuing to elevate me to be a better me.
