We had the good fortune of connecting with Ebonie Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ebonie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I found out about waistbeads, I fell in love immediately! I loved the sexiness and mystique they added when I put them on. It instantly gave me confidence and I felt like everyone should feel how I did. Most of us have some sort of insecurity when naked, but with these on that all went away! So I thought to myself, how I can help other people feel this confident, what can I do? And that’s how I came up with the idea of WrapTight LLC!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I truly want to help other people find or just add to their confidence! I am dedicated to providing a quality product that will last and not have you regret your purchase. I am most proud of my genuine goal of wanting to help people find a way to feel sexy and confident. The hardest thing was believing in myself and actually putting myself out there to the public. The most important lesson I’ve learned is to simply trust and believe in yourself. I want people to know that my brand is everything to me, I take pride in it as well as making sure that I provide great customer service along with a great product!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite places to eat is Capers on Main in Kennesaw! It is always a great meal, service and atmosphere. I would probably take my friend to the Botanical Gardens, go for a walk down the beltline and perhaps visit Ponce City Market. One of my favorite things to do in the city is visit the Aquarium, it’s such a serene and peaceful place to go.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family and close friends have been so supportive and encouraging. The times where I felt as if I was in over my head, or when I let self doubt in, they were all right there to push me forward and let me know that I could do it! I even had coworkers pushing and encouraging me to put myself out there. I’m so glad that I listened to all of them and took that leap!
