Meet Dwyane Stovall | CEO/Founder of LULMagazine & Computer Engineer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dwyane Stovall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dwyane, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I consider myself to be an artist who creates. Over time, I would easily come up with ideas that were always good to try, but I never did because I lacked knowledge up until I took a step forward and created Let Us Live Magazine. The beginning started off rocky because I saw the vision, but I didn’t know how to achieve it, so I made it my business and studied as much as I could in order to learn as much as i could. It took a lot of my social time, but I gained the knowledge that I needed to take the next steps. In these new steps, we have successfully produced 7 magazine issues (Print/Digital) working on our 8th. Overall, the lessons learned were to never give up on an idea just because you come across a road block. You get better with the kessons learned (good or bad), which in turn creates character, personality, and purpose. I hope that LUL Magazine goes international and becomes a household name.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When ever I have the opportunity to bring friends or family out to Atlanta, I love taking them to different recreational places such as the belt line, parks, or great places to eat in Atlanta like the breakfast club to start. , I’d then take them out to Atlantic Station to catch a movie, so a little shopping. Once we get done with that, Id love to have dinner reservations set for us at STK Steakhouse where the food and drinks are great and then throughout the week try other new places just to make sure they enjoy their time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to Thank my team and the many supporters for continously supporting Let Us Live Magazine. We are able to build great relationships with others through our magazine release events which are meant to entertain our guests, engage in meaningful conversations, and provide a fun networking experience for everyone.
