We had the good fortune of connecting with DreVirgo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DreVirgo, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Becoming a model in the music artist wasn’t my first choice. I want to say that I got into modeling before I got some music. I started my Modeling journey in 2020 with a studio in New York City Manhattan. As I continued the modeling journey, I recently fell in love with music. Late rapper Juice WRLD what is my inspiration towards music in during that same month of the passing of Juice WRLD I lost someone that was really dear to me and that was my mother. During that time Covid 19 was a big thing, and I was leaving my hometown to go off to college in Pittsburgh. I want to say February 2021 was when I began to take music seriously. Me and my friend we were actually roommates and he actually did music before me. We begin to record music on our phones. He show me the ropes of how to mix and master my music, but at the time it wasn’t enough for me I wanted to increase my quality. Long story short I’ve been doing music since 2021 and by just doing music I have been hit with a ton of different opportunities. Met a lot of new people and start to take Modeling seriously. My modeling career really beginning to kick off. I want to say this year of 2023. I was in a situation where I met the right people and had the right support and was able to be a part of numerous shows, such as Philly, some fashion, johnstown magazine, and johnstown fashion week, enigma masquerade fashion show in, and a couple other minor fashion shows as well. Once I lost my motivation and the people dear to me, that’s when everything began to change.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
most of all, I am excited and proud that I am able to meet the people that I have and the new people that I will meet. I am also very excited that I was able to create different music, different songs, different genres, and keep things versatile, and to touch my listeners the way my music touches me. and not just the music the Modeling as well every show that I want to. It’s always been positive reviews and positive comments and always good advice so that’s where i connect the most. And I got to where I am today professionally through consistency, quality and networking. I am a quiet person, and I would say a little bit antisocial. It takes a lot to get information or how i feel out of me about myself, so it got me out of my comfort zone to be myself in front of hundreds maybe thousands of people. and I want to say no it wasn’t easy because think about it I had to perform in front of hundreds of people and put myself out there on social media on the Internet in front of thousands may be millions of people and as far as Modeling, I had to be myself in front of higher status individuals or designers. most of all what I’ve learned along the way is to be yourself go with your instinct don’t really try to copy others you could definitely take some advice from them, but just be yourself and make it your business as well like it’s OK to do things for fun. There’s nothing wrong with that but at the same time if you have a goal then I would make it your job that like yo if you want it that bad let’s make a plan..ya know. I want to world to know that a career like this doesn’t happen overnight for some people it may it really depends on how much work you put into it who you know also where you even live, you know I came from a small state, where such things as Modeling and Music wasn’t the thing it wasn’t Buzzin. I get that people are blowing up early a young ages, but really everybody’s time is different. Just go at your pace and go with the flow but don’t half ass it like if you want it that bad then putting that work to attain it. Even if you feel like you’ve put in enough work it’s never enough. Time keeps moving and the days continue to go by, new people are born, and new opportunities arise.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
so, like I said, before I live in a small state, but if it was up to me, places that I like to visit for peace of mind will be the riverfront where I live. When you live in the state so long, which is Delaware you’re surrounded by other states such as New York, New Jersey, Maryland Washington DC and more. So we tend to go to different places and not in one state. Like for instance, if we were to go out and party, we either go find a college party or we will head over to Philadelphia. If you want to eat, will hit up the mall. Like there’s not really much to do here yet but it would be really nice if I could put my state and city on the map to where we can have those nice things. Most people haven’t even heard of our state or even existed like not a lot of people come here for a vacation. Most people really only come to my state because we are tax free, They come here to shop. So if it was up to me for a weeklong, vacation or trip, it wouldn’t be here it would be somewhere in one of the surrounding states.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to my friends and family, the producers and other artist that I’ve worked with, and all my supporters. I wouldn’t have made it this far. It wasn’t for you guys and I want to give a huge shout out to my boy CryLondon he’s the reason why I was able to learn how to record my music, and if it wasn’t for him, a lot of things that I have accomplished wouldn’t have been possible. I do also want to give a huge shout out to my aunt for a buying my first focusrite, my first audio interface. and last, but not least, I do want to give a huge shout out to @Ilove27club for giving my first microphone, which is the rodeo if I didn’t have that and I wouldn’t have been able to make the songs that I have today, or in the past my audio interface. there is a lot of more shadows that I could give and Credit said I could give you guys know who you are and I appreciate you.
