We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Victoria Sheffield and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Victoria, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I want to leave a legacy that says I can do anything my heart desires if I have faith and do the work that it takes to be successful. I want people to remember my spirit and the excellence that I put in everything I do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a business consultant and CEO of Sheffield Business Solutions. Sheffield Business Solutions is a personal development firm that offers services for individuals and corporations. Our mission is to help those that wish to grow by offering products, services, resources, and a platform that will help them achieve. Business or ministry startup, marketing, and branding are on the list of services that we provide. If you are the CEO of a company, founder of a ministry, or organization and it seems you are facing challenges getting things going, we can help you by taking you through an analyzation process to determine your needs. Our online platform of learning makes becoming successful easy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I was born in Fulton County, Atlanta Ga. where I still reside today so she’s in for a real treat.

The first thing we would do is go to my favorite seafood restaurant which happens to be Red Lobster. I would order my usual salmon, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. If she’s in the mood for shopping, we would go to a mall and play around at a photobooth. The photos would be keepsakes for the both of us. We would visit family and other friends. We may even checkout a comedy club and head out to Buckhead to see if we may run into some celebrities. A stroll around downtown Atlanta near the CNN building would be another area for us to hangout and sight see. Lastly, we would wine down at a massage parlor before she returns home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I was born into entrepreneurship. My mother, the late Nellie Lockett, CEO of Nell Jackson Designs, who passed away in 2021, was a 40-year entrepreneur. She was my first business coach, the one who not only taught me about business but set a professional example for me. I was able to see through her success as a celebrity fashion designer that our start in life doesn’t determine our outcome. I saw her reach heights that some only dream of in a lifetime. I am grateful to have had her and would not be the person I am if she wasn’t my mother.
