We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. June Chennault and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. June, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am from Washington, Georgia. I often get the reaction from others, once I tell them where I’m from, “I didn’t know there was a Washington, Georgia,!” Growing up in Washington with my mom and dad along with my three brothers was a true blessings to me! My mom was a housekeeper before I was born then she  transitioned over to education as a substitute teacher then a paraprofessional. My dad did factory work, but was highly is still highly skilled as a carpenter. My parents worked with integrity and grace. They showed to how to preserve through any and all obstacles in life. I dedicate all my successes to my parents’ prayer life of which I still practice daily prayer to this day and their morals that resonate in my life right to this present day.

What should our readers know about your business?
I have started my very own Christian Publishing company called Chennault Publishing back in 2018. I was truly inspired by my mother’s book about Heaven that I was editing at that time. I was searching for a good Publishing company for my mother’s story, but God put it into my spirit to start my own Publishing company and then to publish my mother’s book. The name of her book is “The Next Time I Go To Heaven I Will Not Be Back! My Journey to Heaven.” I love reading books on spiritually and gaining success through faith.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I had the most beautiful, amazing time on Mackinac Island in Michigan. I would take my bestie to that island . First, we would take a take a fun ferry boat to the island. We would take pictures under Arch Rock. We would stay at the Grand Hotel. We would enjoy all the seafood spots there then we would bike ride through the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would to also shout-out my Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Kathy Callaway. I was a very shy student and she allowed me how to be expressive and to open up more in class. Also, my high school teacher Mrs. Lou Bentley gave me the courage to be creative with my school work. Lastly but not least my three brothers, Laz Jr., Otis and Pastor Henra taught me how to be strong and brave!
