Meet DONNIQUE HARRISON | PASTOR & CEO DEVINE FASHIONS BOUTIQUE&ACCESSORIES

We had the good fortune of connecting with DONNIQUE HARRISON and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi DONNIQUE, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
The most important thing I have done as a parent that have impacted my kids is them watching me break generational curses in my family. I was a high school dropout and I waited until I was in my 30’s to get back in school and take the classes I needed to get my high school diploma. Just to have them to witness that while I worked a full time job was priceless. I have always impacted them by leading by example as they have watched me struggle as a single parent but yet kept it together. There were times I felt like giving up. I always had them in church just as I do now to never have to rely on others when you can fully rely on God. They have watched me do several events in the community for homeless and helping others until it has instilled in them to never look down on anyone but to always be a help. I have always told them that they are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, first and not last and it’s nothing that they can’t do if they put their minds too it. I have always been a positive role model figure by always putting myself last and them first. I have always influenced them to be truthful at any given cause. They always tell me I am so strong but not knowing I felt very weak at times. Through my impacting them they have become strong and independant individuals. They are not afraid to try anything in this thing called ‘LIFE’ because failure is not an option.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the CEO and Founder of “Devine Fashions Boutique and Accessories”. I wanted to start a clothing business for women to dress them in the best quality designs to uplift and inspire them. I like to critique styles and different dresses by sketching them and bringing them into fruition. Clothes and heels are my passion. I also like to use my talents and business skills to help women that are less fortunate and homeless by doing makeovers to make them feel special. My goal is to take my women boutique international in the future by setting up one in Africa and surrounding countries. I would like to change lives through my passion to help others feel inspired. I am super excited to be the Pastor of New Beginnings Deliverance Outreach Ministries,Inc. in the beautiful city of Hampton, GA. We are a Non-denominational Pentecostal Church where we love on people right where they are. I am concerned about the souls and the lives of people by wanting them saved, set free and delivered. I started this ministry in December 2021 and God is truly blessing us as he continues to build the ministry. We are a ‘deliverance’ ministry and God has been faithful.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them downtown Atlanta,GA and we would ride the Ferris wheel just to catch up on old times. We would go eat at this resturant at the Underground Atlanta. Next, I would take them to do the escape room and that would be our way to work together as a mental challenge. I would them take them on a wine tasting, we would take walks in the park and play tennis. We would explore the museum and learn about out roots and visit our love ones graves. We would go to church and give God some time and just enjoy each other.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First of all, I want to give recognition to God who is the head of my life. Secondly, my Ministry for being a safe haven to go and get revived by being in a conducive atmospehere. Lastly, but not least I would like to recognize Ms. Marilyn Echols just for being there for me at my lowest times and when I felt like giving up. She encouraged me and gave me the push I needed with words that was not always what i wanted to hear, but needed to hear to cultivate me to where I was going. I will forever be humble and grateful.
