Hi Donnetta, how do you define success?
I define success by the impact I have on others. How do my actions and accomplishments impact the lives of others. What person believes they can do it (whatever it is) too, because I did it. How did my direct efforts change your life and the life of your family. My biggest asset will never be an object, it will always be my relationship capital. “My FACE card knows no limits”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the Principal of My business, Wellsons Financial Group (WFG), my passion is The Phenomenal Hues Global Network of which I am the founder.

WFG is a full service financial firm focusing on accessing capital for minority and women owned business. I focus on alternative forms of capital and assets acquisition that help close the wealth gap in this country. We focus on founder financing and mezzanine lending for mergers and acquisitions of existing businesses.

PHGN is a community for phenomenally hued people . We cultivate events and networking opportunities to serve as educational moments to teach
Transitioning executives and new entrepreneurs how to navigate business out side of the boardroom and after office hours. The Golf course, whiskey bar, humidors, and fine dining meetings for example.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well Phenomenal Hues Live events. We would go do a wine tasting at LaParnada a Black owned Italian restaurant in the SWAT. The owner Debrah Van Trece is a member of our network and hosts our wine tasting events on Wine down WED. I would go to Top Golf where our member Greta Anderson and LPGA pro teaches the fundamentals of golf. We would go to cigar city club a black owned cigar lounge where we hold an event with a tabacconist who will teach us the ins and outs of cigars. We would go to RICE the Russel center to soak up a little bit of Black Excellence and to be reminded that black business is business. Lastly I would hit up Slush a black owned lounge and Restutaunt eat hang on a Saturday and hit up a black owned brunch spot before they got back on the plane.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Black Women, periodt!!!!! From my great grandmother, to my college friends, to the wonder business mentors and peers. I would not be here if it wasn’t for the magical, powerful, phenomenal, and honest women in my life, I would not even be alive to strive lest alone be an example of success.
