We had the good fortune of connecting with Dodley “Seaux9” Joseph and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dodley, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by everything around me, I see art in everything, in terms of music I find inspiration in listening to great compositions from old and new, I also find inspiration by studying the greats that came before me as well as the country my parents are from.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m an artist, musician, producer, songwriter, and engineer, my music inspires change for the better! I’m pretty much a one-man band when it comes to music, I’ve also been blessed to collaborate with great artists as well, I’m very proud of my second body of work, my NFT project, Feeled Notes Vol: 2, it’s tuned to 432hz, and is exclusively available as NFT, being that the NFT space is still fairly new in many ways I am pioneer introducing my fans to web3, I started producing in 2010, I’ve had my ups and downs along my creative journey, I was blessed to be in a stem program at Lanier HS where I learned about music production, I wasn’t supposed to be in that class god willing I was able to get in, I fought self-doubt and ridicule and through it all, I continued to release music despite the adversity I was facing. I kept going into spaces and sharing my music with the world, the people who loved my music became fans and encouraged me to push forward, my fans reassured me that if I stayed on the path it wouldn’t be long until I was recognized for my greatness globally. One of the biggest lessons is my purpose in creation, why do anything at all? you have to know your purpose, since my purpose is healing through sounds, dance, and rhythm, I aspire to become the greatest recording artist of all time. I want the world to know that our experiences help mold us and that my brand of music promotes love, introspection, and transformation. The young Haitian from south Florida made a name for himself, you can too!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend was visiting Atlanta it would only be natural that we get a wrap from Tassili’s, then take a walk around cascade nature preserve then end it with Gallery 992.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
If there’s one person that has been influential and a mentor to me it’s my cousin Yveto Thomas, he has always encouraged me to fight for what I believe and to be courageous in the face of adversity.
