We had the good fortune of connecting with Djuan Shaw and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Djuan, how do you think about risk?
Taking risk is a big part of life and was a big factor of the career I chose . It’s not guaranteed that you will succeed so ultimately you have to take a gamble on yourself and roll the dice. However , i feel that if you have a strong enough reason and the will power to keep going , no matter how uneven the odds you’ll turn out prosperous.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a music Artist hailing from Detroit Mi and residing in Atlanta , Ga. My ability to adapt and improve in a short amount of time separates me from the rest , that’s something that I’m most proud of as well. Personally Iv checked a great amount of milestones and Iv been increasing rapidly as time goes on. I got to where I am today by applying myself and doing the things other upcoming artist in my field aren’t willing to do, and network like crazy. It wasn’t easy , there are a lot of nights I spend restless worried about my future and success and contemplate stopping or finishing. However , Iv invested and have came to far to stop. I learned to not compare others success and road to mines and respect my journey is unique to me. I want the world to know that I , Lxrd S , Am Representation of pure energy and brutal honesty. So believe me when I say I will win.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are so many different Options in Atlanta to do activity wise. Eating wise , some mandatory spots to hit are , Grindhouse killer burgers , The Bando , Hot chixx Atl, and of course waffle house lol. I know some secret locations , you have to do a little adventuring but the views are definitely worth it. There’s so many options , from Climbing mountains , to city life and clubbing , even taking a trip to six flags. Honestly I would try to fit it all in.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout-out to some of the artist Iv studied and try to replicate some parts of my career in. Shout out to Nipsey hussle, Sada Baby , Bfb Da packman , Rio da YUNG Og, Rmc Mike and Payroll Giovanni. Shout out to Eric Thomas as well , when ever I felt unmotivated I read and watched his material.
