Hi Dj, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking plays a major role in my life. At first, I had a few struggles because trying out fashion influence and content creation was never a part of my game plan. I had to adjust to posting myself more and trying new versatile styles with clothing. I also had to realize that I could not fit in with the crowd around me. I knew that I had to stand out. I started posting daily on social media all while still being in school and other activities that were going on. I started to find myself in different environments and meeting new people and facing the fear of failure. I took a risk diving into the content and fashion industry not knowing what would come with it, but I mentally prepared myself to take on whatever challenges came with it. All the judgment, negativity, backlash, and struggles came and still come my way till this day, but it does nothing but motivate me to go harder. Being afraid to take risks can hold you back tremendously! That risk that you are scared to take might be the risk that helps your business or role in your career take off. Not attempting to do something automatically means failure because you did not try, but if you at least attempt to do so, then there might be a positive outcome. I take risks everyday trying new things that I might not fully feel comfortable with. My advice to anyone who is scared to take risks is to not be afraid. Have faith in everything you do and walk like you already have it. God will show you the pathway that is meant for you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What differs in me from many is that I am not the one who lets numbers or clout get to the head. Still upcoming with what I do myself, and I understand it’s not always cakewalk. I love helping upcoming business owners, brands, or people who watch me and want to get into it. I try to be as real as possible and build relationships with all the people that I am working with. Not because I’m such a nice guy, but when it is genuine, it just feels better for the business end of things. I got to where I am today all from constantly working and keeping an entrepreneur mindset. Being an entrepreneur means to constantly have a mindset of working and building wealth for yourself through a self created business. I keep my options open and try not to minimize other sources of success. It has never been easy for me though. There’s a lot of unsuccessful attempts, discouragements, and different things that have made me want to give up, but God has always been there by my side to encourage me to keep going and has given me a more positive mindset with an ambitious heart. Some lessons that I have learned along the way are that not everything you want is meant for you, it takes discipline to be great, and you have to let some things and people go to be able to grow. Something that I want the world to know about me and my story is that you do not have to come from the projects to still work hard and hustle for a better situation. I came from a decent home with hard working parents and family. I still chose to work on my own and learn how to survive in the world, so I could realize what real life is like. I never wanted to depend on or feel entitled for people to do everything for me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In Dallas, Texas there are a lot of different things for different people. I would say it just depends on the type of person you are and what interests you the most. Personally, if I wanted to have a good time then I would eat Velvet Taco, Black Tap, Normas Cafe, and 360 Brunch House. For entertainment, I would most definitely suggest downtown as an option. It has many different areas and tourist attractions. I also think that Cinepolis theater would be great. It is a movie theater in the downtown Dallas area. It is very beautiful on the inside and they have great food and service. If there is a sports game in town, then it would only be right to go see the game and get an experience of fun at whichever stadium or arena the event is taking place at.

I want to shoutout my family, friends, and most importantly God. First, I would like to thank God for everything. I would not have anything if it was not for him. The numerous opportunities, the lessons, the blessings, and the pathway that has been created for me. Even through the bad and good, I will always be loving and grateful to be a chosen child. I want to thank my friends and family as well. They have been with me from the start and are willing to stay by my side all the way to the end. They give me motivation, advice, support in every aspect I can think of, and many different sides of creativity that I can implement in what I do.
