We had the good fortune of connecting with Diego R and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diego, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think risk taking is one of the most intriguing parts of life. Some are bold enough to take a risk and some rather stay in their comfort zone. I am not a stranger to risk taking. I took my First life changing risk when i moved from California to Georgia. The risk was difficult and scary but, my faith is what got me through it. I knew that i wanted change and the thought was getting stronger so i finally decided to go for it. Since being here i have had many doors of opportunity and one of them was Starting my own business. This was my second most difficult risk but, this time i knew what the feeling was from before and i Knew God had put it in my heart to do it because i knew i was not the most business savvy but, i had the skills and knowledge in the business. So, I prayed, and it took a good while before i knew it was time to go for it. Since starting my business work has just been busy and i never imagined the success i would have being new to the Entrepreneur life. I did not start with any debt and that’s why i was a bit worried on how i would start my business but, i knew God would provide and he did. I think taking risks has had a huge role in my life. I had to decide whether i wanted better and progress or stay comfortable and play it safe. Risk taking was the better option!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The thing that sets us apart is the Turnaround time and communication. I have always been a fast worker i have been in construction for over 18 years and I have worked with the hardest workers out there. Being from California they expect fast turnaround and i just got used to it and i bring that fast paced but, quality mentality to my business. Another thing is i want the client to feel comfortable and I communicate with the client from start to finish. I know what it’s like to be skeptic of contractors or anyone doing work in your home so i make sure i am very transparent and communicate throughout the process.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
i am still exploring the city but so far i really love Oriental Express. My wife and Love their sushi.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout out first to God because he is Faithful. My wife is the backbone of my success, She works behind the scenes and guides me through the process. I couldn’t do it without her. We are a Team!
