Meet Diana Moye-Mitchell | Transformational Life Coach & Motivational Speaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diana Moye-Mitchell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Diana, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was surrounded around helping people, who have gone through traumatic life changing ordeals, regain hope in life. People often loose hope for the future because of the adversity, which has negatively impacted their mental, physical and financial well being. Through the services of H.O.P.E., my endeavor is to help people maintain desire for life with an optimistic attitude, a positive mindset, and an expectation of what they hope for will come to pass.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
After twenty-eight plus years of a professional career in the secular, my life’s work transitioned recently towards me pursuing my divine purpose and passion of sharing the word of God with individuals who have suffered traumatic life experiences. The transition to a faith-based professional career resulted in me establishing a non-profit organization to Help Others Pursue Excellence (H.O.P.E.) in Life, thus giving H.O.P.E. My endeavor has been to help individuals restore hope, build confidence and live transformed lives through the teaching of biblical principles. As a transformational teacher, trainer, coach and mentor with a heart for the struggling, and an abiding passion for furthering the Kingdom of God, I love the liberty I have to flow where help is needed by individuals, businesses, and other faith-based organizations. Within this organization, I provide not only coaching and mentoring services but also plan, develop and implement training material for use by lay counselors and for conferences. Educational videos are produced to promote the program to media outlets and the general public. Periodically, I write inspired devotional blogs to further help individuals overcome fear, walk in faith, gain confidence and aspire towards excellence. As a result of the pandemic, I am currently establishing virtual online transformational training to reach an international base of people to help. The discipline of consistency, focus, and perseverance has propelled me to where I am today in helping others. The transition from my secular job to the work I have been purposed to fulfill in the earth has not been easy; however, nothing worth having or doing in life is going to be easy. It all takes dedication, discipline and hard work. I have been able to overcome challenges through prayer, and seeking subject matter experts to assist me in accomplishing the work. I’ve learned some valuable lessons to share: A person must forever remain a student (always seeking to learn more) of their profession. A person must first be what they are endeavoring to help others become. You can’t be or do what you don’t know. You can’t lead others where you have not gone or don’t go. My story is that God gets all of the glory. My success has come through a life of serving God and others .
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would eat at the Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Alpharetta, GA
I would visit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights
I would hang out at Von Maur store at Perimeter Mall
I always meet exciting people at the places I patronize because they are doing the things I love. I love seafood, learning and shopping until I drop.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are so many people who have been instrumental in my success today from family to close friends; however, at this juncture in my life, I want to give a shoutout to Christine Abraham, founder and director of Bible Cafe University (BCU), an online bible/book study platform that provides spiritual growth and transformation in the lives of women. Several years ago, at the time that I was undergoing a major career change, a friend recommended that I register for a Leadership Program offered by Christine. Shortly after completing the program, I learned that I could become a member of the university and enroll in the bible studies. Desperate to remain rooted in my faith and hopeful for my future, I joined BCU and enrolled in biblical studies offered by Christine. Over the last three years, she has served as my spiritual mentor and leadership coach. Today, I am not only a member of BCU but I serve on the leadership team and assist with facilitating the online zoom studies. I’m grateful for the opportunity given me by Christine to fulfill my passion of teaching, guiding others in their spiritual growth/ relationship with God and providing them with hope.
