Meet Diamond and Micah: YouTube Influencers / Day Traders

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diamond and Micah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diamond and Micah, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Our relationship has always been priority, so it was complicated when we didn’t vibe smoothly as business partners in the beginning of our journey. Which resulted in a few failed business ventures. In regards to our work life balance, because we are both very head strong, it was a little bit of a challenge to communicate and be successful. We did not want work to come in between our romantic connection so to help us keep everything balanced out we created a schedule. We also created a list of roles geared towards our individual strengths that we both had to fulfill in order for us to be successful and to mesh well as a team. 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We aren’t your ordinary YouTube Influencers, so bare with us as we answer this question… What sets us apart is that we strive to make a living based on our lives. Our adventurous souls led us to pick up the camera and share our experiences. Our main goal is to stay true to ourselves and not fall victim to the American “norms”. Hence why we are converting our van into a tiny home. We are ready to travel the world and seek adventure as minimalist. Fortunately, through our career as Influencers we are able to share our journey and inspire you guys to live freely. Has it always been easy ? No, because it’s never easy to be vulnerable enough to chase your dreams and be confident to share them with others. Often we find ourselves having to conquer our fears and doubts, because the world doesn’t normalize putting your dreams first and having faith that everything else fall into place. The biggest lesson we’ve learned is that we don’t have to know all of the answers. So leaning more on each other in those moments are crucial because we don’t know anyone who shares the same values as us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We view our subscribers as our best friends so if we had to put them on game and create an itinerary we would take them out to eat at BeetleCat, our favorite oyster spot and have them camp out with us at Stone Mountain National Park. While at Stone Mountain we would have them tap into their adventurous side with activities such as: pitching a tent, kayaking, fishing and enjoying drinks around a bonfire.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The most important shoutout will have to go to God, for aligning the universe and having us cross paths. Secondly, our families and close friends because they support our wildest dreams without placing judgement or limiting beliefs on what we are capable of. Of course we can’t forget about our followers and subscribers, their engagement gives us purpose. In our challenging times, they encourage and remind us that we aren’t alone and have a community that wants to see us prevail. We appreciate all of the love!
