We had the good fortune of connecting with Devonte Longmire and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Devonte, how do you think about risk?
I usually try to take my time and think before going with a move Risk taking has played an important role in my life. I feel like you have to take chances in this industry to get where you want to be. It’ll be worth it in the long run it’s a good feeling knowing you took a chance and it was worth it

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started doing photography first around the summer of 2017. I was doing that for a couple of months then around fall of 2017, I was like let me try to shoot videos. I told all my friends I was gone do it I had a lot of support. At the time, I was just having fun really wasn’t thinking like it would really become something big for me and my life. Things started getting really serious and big moments around 2019 that’s when I realized like People really paying attention to me so I started really getting serious started making connections and not being scared to fail. I’ve spent a lot of time into my craft lot of long nights and sacrifices. I just never gave up even on the roughest days. I just always believed in myself and still do to this day. Everything has been a journey and I’m still learning till this day. Just really taking the time to learn the business side of everything. I want people to remember me for being the guy that gives people hope just something to believe in ain’t nobody in my city done seen what I’ve seen or done what I’ve done

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I ain’t gone lie my city very small ain’t nothing to do here for real ill suggest I come to them honestly or we go to ATL.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
S/o to all my close friends and family and even the people who I don’t talk to on a regular I have a lot of support behind me and I really do appreciate it. The people around me keep me going honestly so it makes me move with a purpose. I got some people who really look up to me so I try to make sure I keep going I got eyes on me
