Hi Desiree, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe taking risks is very important to do in life, in order to grow and move forward to where you see your future self you have to be willing to try new things and step out of your comfort zone to gain new results or outcomes for success.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m excited about my upcoming projects, my EP: “Desire to him”, a few starring roles/features I have in movies and music videos, as well as a few other business ventures I have in the works. A few of my favorite sayings are “Nothing that comes easy lasts long.” “Nothing worth it comes easy.” and also “It takes time to look this good.” I overcome many of life’s challenges with dark humor, giving a little extra kindness, love, and care to myself.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way are we are our own worst critics, don’t take life too seriously, forgive, forgive, forgive for they know not what they do, and spend time with the people you care about most because life happens fast, and you don’t want to live with any regrets.
I want the world to know that I never had anything easy I just make it look effortless, I worked very hard since I was eight years old in the industry, I had many days and nights of tears, I was the underdog, I was bullied I was let down time and time again until I decided to become who I needed someone I can look up to.
I want whoever’s reading this to know that it’s okay with being the first or the only one to believe in yourself but if you are able to relate to or help even just one person, that is success enough.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to a spa, six flags, and maybe to go get piercings or a new tattoo. I love being spontaneous because its less headache and hassle, the most interesting things to do have to deal with trying new things, food adventure or art.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d love to shout out a few inspirational, talented, positive, and motivating women I am so lucky to know!

Tene you are my dawg por vida. I’m so lucky to have grown with you in so many ways and to be able to continue our journey. I value you. I love you so much for real. you have been an inspiration of mine since day one. You are family.

@LuxeMesse your heart is so pure and your energy is so contagiously bright you checked on me and was there for me when nobody was at one of the lowest points of my life I’ll never forget that , @kilagokama_angela you are so kind, strong honest and loving , @ffp_llc you are so resilient, the hardest worker I know and you truly want the best for everyone, @phillineyvonne you are such a great big sister, you’re honest, you lead with integrity and spontaneity, @chaniie_b you hold space for the people you care about most, you are a great mom, listener and supporter, @ericajoyceofc you are brave, talented, courageous and have dark humor to get us by, @jasmineee.rom you are patient, understanding, kind and so willing to help the people you value, @cojo.the.model showed me there are still amazing new people worth meeting, if I had to pick the color of your aura it would be yellow like the sun , @diamnddee you’re real from the jump, you know what you want that’s a quality I respect and admire, @mama.duke you have discernment, you are so humble, kind and someone who deserves what they want and work tirelessly for, @fungvivi vvs is on my chain lol you are so smart, professional and you work hard at everything you do, you inspire me to learn more, @lleeaannddrra_ you have a beautiful soul, you have a big heart once you get to know someone and you always have had my back @ariathagoddess you are so loving and believed in me before many people Ill never forget that, I admire you for your work ethic and kindness @ocleadinlady boss lady you intimidated me at first but in a good way, you handle business and are straight to the point you are kind but not a push over and I respect that so much about you, @sharriarraamaru I admire you and your accomplishments, you are a great mother, role model and wife and your energy was always amazing , @faye_yvette_mcqueen my godma you are so bright, and people gravitate to you, you light up a room and your energy is as gorgeous as who you are, you go above and beyond in everything you love and you taught me to never give up on my dreams from day one you really inspired me to keep trying in order to succeed and you are living proof doing that is possible @recklessdominican you are beautifully such a ride or die friend if things make sense, you are a great listener and person, you’re real and upfront because you genuinely want your friends to be their best version of themselves and that shows you really care to help people grow and not stay stagnant that’s a great quality to have I respect you so much for that. I love all of you so much thank you for inspiring me every day and helping me grow as a woman I’m so thankful for you all, I believe and admire you all so much keep going you never know who you’ll help and inspire along the way.
