We had the good fortune of connecting with Dennis Beltonjr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dennis, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Relationships, and having a system in place. I believe System stands for Save yourself some time energy & money. Website, Social Media Marketing, and Content Creation is so important for your brand. Branding is important because not only is it what makes a memorable impression on consumers but it allows your customers and clients to know what to expect from your company. It is a way of distinguishing yourself from the competitors and clarifying what it is you offer that makes you the better choice. Your brand is built to be a true representation of who you are as a business, and Branding is critical to a business because of the overall impact it makes on your company. Branding can change how people perceive your brand, it can drive new business and increase brand awareness. I feel like I have a good feel for that. 

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My Creative Direction and Story telling ability sets me apart from others along with my Location Scouting for projects. Also my Artist Development with models and creatives, I know how to get the best out of them like a coach. I got here by networking doing a lot of non profit work and collab projects to grow my network and get my name out there. It was hard because when I started this creative world was new to the masses, so people didn’t know how to pay the likes of someone like me. The lessons I learned along the way, no matter how good you become, God decides when you receive a blessing or opportunity in this business. You have to keep working and go through your process.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

God, my relationship with him got me this far and gives me confidence impossible is possible. Also the city of Detroit, being born and raised here it gave me all the emotions to create.
