We had the good fortune of connecting with Dennis A Goodman III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dennis A, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Originally I’m from Memphis,Tennessee. ( Lives in Stockbridge, Ga)

My background let’s see…..I grew up staying to myself due to living situations. So with that time I read Tons of books, comics, magazines anything I could get. I would image myself as these characters and do voiceovers on them and create my own little scenarios. So I guess the creative process began there. Animé is my first love before alot of things! So I had lots of material to work with, also reading stories and asking questions to better understand what I was reading said helped. Being in foster care at that time helped , it’s crazy to say that but going through a situation helped start the creative drive you see from Me today. I’m getting more into Expressing myself through MY ART ( acting, modeling ect )

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

I’m a Actor, Model, Artist, Creative Director, Behind-The-Scene guy, Photographer,Personal/Private Chef Video-Game Tester, EventHost, CosPlay,Casting Assistant. I Am Everything I Want To Be and I am very proud to Say In all those categories , I have achieved a opportunity to do it with A-List Celebrities instantly. That’s not a flex , it’s saying through my process I identified what I wanted early and ran for it.

(*)Now was it easy ? Hell no, I think at this point in life all the greats have said it. You will go through something to get somewhere and how you persevere will determine the outcome of the goal . Mold or Fold. So *I’m *(in) a sense these no way to say what challenges I faced cause for everyone IT IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT.

Now I went through death of my mom at young age, homeless, I was in the streets a lil before I realized my potential. All I can say is 1.NEVER GIVE UP 2.Believe in God ( That’s Big) my journey brought me closer to God than any other person I have know in my life. Now saying it and actually doing it was my biggest problem. I took me almost losing my freedom to get the picture. I pray nobody experiences that , believe trust and act accordingly to God on your journey.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

I would Take Them 5 Points/MidTown to see some tourist stuff. Bars , lounges. Go to The Aquarium cause I’m not from Atlanta ( been here 15 years lol) but my first time going was Last week! Also Slutty Vegan choice always. FireHen in Buckhead my favorite Halal spot here.

I work in clubs a lot so that’s not me . Ikr SUPRISE lol. But I would take my friends to a dancehall place cause you the Vibez (Trinidadian) so Afro Centric is more my style. But I got my friends who I can Pop out at Magic on a Monday and go crazy or I would Say Escobar on The Southside ( My Home Here )

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Shout to the people in my life who helped rasie me ( black, white, friends parents, my pops , teachers, stranger’s)

I may not have a social media following, but I have a PEOPLE FOLLOWING. Meaning through my walk in life I have had some bizarre situations that would make BigFoot seem real happen to me lol. Without the people I have met up until this point I would not be here. Literally would not be here ShoutOut to the people who help others without wanting things in return. Never know that person could be the reason I blow up on day (Inshallah) cause they helped a black boy that needed help. It really took a village to get me to this point. God knows I’m grateful. I do have a few, Shoutout to LenoxxEnt ( ig @lenoxx_ent ) for motivation and great advice for the industry. Shoutout to GT Films @gtfilms for giving me an opportunity to act on major artist videos and get a new audience for my career.

without @ninastackz this wouldn’t even be possible that’s The biggest shoutout. She believed in me and got me started expressing my creativity behind and in front of the camera. Check her page and follow her big time. She has some projects out on Amazon Prime / Peacock/ Tubi
