We had the good fortune of connecting with Demonta & Kenesha Coleman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Demonta & Kenesha, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Having a sustainable work/life balance was one of the most greatest factors that propelled us into entrepreneurship. Having children was decision that we did not take lightly and bring present and available for the important moments in their childhood was non negotiable. We have found a profitable niche market in the catering/food truck industry that allows us to earn a sustainable income and be available for ourselves and our children in a meaningful way. Formulating a business model that fits the lifestyle you desire is key.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
PaBoys LLC was founded with The Ultimate Flavor Experience in mind. We wanted to add a unique flavor to familiar comfort foods. We began our journey by both leaving Corporate America to pursue out ultimate goal of a sustainable work life balance. It definitely hasn’t been easy but finding a good niche was the key and, of course, a supportive village.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We love to entertain in our home. We would more than likely prepare a meal with custom cocktails and/or great wine pairings. We’d likely end the evening over great conversation.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our mother’s have been pivotal in our success as full time working parents. They’re unwavering support and love is undoubtedly the pillars to our success and catalysts for our future.
