Meet Delvin Wilson | Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Delvin Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Delvin, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would say the most important factor behind my success is remaining personable and humble.

A brand, logo or visual aesthetic can only go as far as the person behind it.
I treat everyone like the CEO and never get too high up.

That is a brand within a brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an artist I struggled to find what set me apart for a while.

It took me some time but I found out that my ability to tell a story and evoke emotion was my calling.

I got to this point in my career by not meeting a stranger and connecting with anybody I came across. I truly care about every persons story and learning from their journey.

Speaking of a journey.. my career has been just that. I have been a lot of places and made mistakes but I learned to stay rooted in God and family at the lowest points of my career.

I want the world to know that it is okay to take the time to show people they matter. Not the likes, not the followers but the fellowship and genuine care for others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Okay so boom!

Get off the flight we drop the bags off at the crib and head directly to rodeo goat in Dallas or Grease Monkey in Arlington. Two spots that people may not know a whole lot about but the food and the service is top tier.
Also, there is a lot to do in both of those areas!

After that we would probably head in decompress and gear up for later.

That night I say we go to Puttery in grandscape. Get a few drinks there and enjoy some rounds of putt-putt.

I do not go out like that so it would not be a club scene we end up at man.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
God deserves all the honor and glory first off, next my wife Erica for keeping me focused and always pushing me.

My parents Tammi and Earnest.
They blessed me with the opportunity to be born into such a close knit, supportive and sincere family.

My siblings; Lacyndra, Trey, Jorrion, Teneshia, Josh, Quisean (their spouses), My cousins; Brian, Kim, Lanae, KC, Kavon, Mani and lastly the brothers of OSF.
