Meet DeAndre Little | Writer and Producer
We had the good fortune of connecting with DeAndre Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi DeAndre, what do you want your legacy to be?
I want my legacy to be remember by my talent and input to the world as a screenwriter and producer.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from everyone else is I am myself and I am humble.
I am not in competition with anyone else.
I just want to display and use my talent to the world in a humble and profound way and the best way I know how.
God is the reason why I am where I am today.
He is the only reason and my main source on why I am where I am at professionally today.
Getting to where I am as a upcoming screenwriter and producer wasn’t easy, but it was god’s destiny for me to be here.
I have learning to keep God first, constantly work on my writing and being the best writer and producer I can be.
DeAndre Little is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Born To Morris and Henrietta Little on January,19,1993.
He desired to become a Television Producer, Screenwriter, and Record Executive and discovered his talent, at the tender age of five years old. As a kid he had a wide imagination and always loved movies, sitcoms and loved music would create ideas in his mind and also pretended he was an Executive of his own Record Label.
His first idea “LaShawn Shellman’s Way” a reality show based around Lashawn Shellman. He composed it on a professional level, as a writer in 2012, At the age of Nineteen.
His second Idea was a musical series was entitled For The Love Of Music. His third Idea in 2013 was entitled: “The Next R&B Champ” a musical competition that was pitch to a major production company Think Factory Media who composed R&B Divas.
In 2019, He service as representation of R&B recording artist and pitched her a possible biopic Idea.
He is currently an owner of his own production DJL Concept Creations LLC which was formed in 2019. But the official was February of 2022.
DJL Concept Creations LLC had created a series centered around “Moesha and “The Parkers characters Kim and Niecy entitled Kim and Niecy.
Centered Around Shar Jackson and Countess Vaughn were supposed to be revamping their characters as Kim Parker Hauser and Niecy Jackson- Hamilton change of plans took place the idea all together
Open the doors for him and gained him Representation from Beverly Brock and etc.
He is currently working on two dramas.
“The Bostons” and “Tremaine and Los”.
He is also working on two feature-length Horror films:
“A Weekend At Marksville and Salmona”.
New Sitcoms Alisa and Mahogany and Bros Before Foes and many more projects.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my bestfriend was to visit me we would first go to Apple Bees that is my favorite restaurant ever,We would go skating and most of all I love to participate in karaoke. I am introvert and mainly to myself, but I know how to make my friends feel welcome and we would have a good time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
