Meet Deana “Mis’Dee” White | CEO of Peach Rebel

We had the good fortune of connecting with Deana “Mis’Dee” White and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deana “Mis’Dee”, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business came from a deep desire to create something that felt honest and purposeful. I didn’t see enough spaces that truly celebrated resilience, everyday excellence, and the people who quietly show up and do the work—often without recognition. I wanted to build something that felt like a reflection of real life, real struggle, and real growth.
Peach Rebel was born out of lived experience. It came from navigating setbacks, learning to trust myself, and realizing that waiting for permission or validation wasn’t going to get me where I wanted to go. I knew I wanted to create a brand that highlighted strength, individuality, and community—especially for those who are often overlooked but are deeply impactful.
Starting my own business was less about entrepreneurship for me and more about ownership—owning my story, my voice, and my vision. Peach Rebel represents choosing to bet on yourself, even when the path isn’t clear, and creating something meaningful out of perseverance, creativity, and purpose.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is rooted in storytelling. Peach Rebel isn’t just a brand—it’s a reflection of lived experience, resilience, and the beauty that comes from choosing yourself even when the path is uncertain. What sets my work apart is its intention. Everything I create is grounded in authenticity and community, highlighting people and stories that often go unnoticed but deserve to be seen, celebrated, and honored.
What I’m most proud of is building something that feels real. Peach Rebel doesn’t follow trends—it tells truth. Through projects like calendars, creative campaigns, and community-driven initiatives, I aim to spotlight strength, individuality, and perseverance. I’m excited about how the brand continues to evolve into a platform that empowers, uplifts, and connects people through shared experience.
Professionally, my journey has been anything but easy. I didn’t arrive here through shortcuts or perfect timing. I got here through trial and error, setbacks, self-doubt, and persistence. There were moments when support was scarce, resources were limited, and quitting felt like the most logical option. What helped me push through was learning to trust my vision, stay consistent, and remain open to growth—even when progress felt slow or invisible.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that support doesn’t always come from where you expect it to. I’ve learned that strangers can become supporters, that purpose attracts alignment, and that people will judge you based on what they don’t know. I’ve also learned the importance of protecting my time, honoring my boundaries, and giving myself grace throughout the process.
What I want the world to know about me and Peach Rebel is simple: this brand was built with heart, intention, and resilience. It’s for the underdogs, the quiet leaders, and the ones who keep showing up despite the odds. My story—and my art—are about choosing purpose over fear and turning perseverance into something meaningful.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d want them to experience the city’s culture, food, and energy—because Atlanta is more than a destination, it’s a feeling.
We’d kick things off with dinner and cocktails at Level 3 Cuisine and Bar, setting the tone with great food and an upscale nightlife vibe. For brunch, I’d take them to Garden Parc Brunch & Events, a go-to spot on Cascade Road known for its great food, relaxed atmosphere, and community feel.
During the week, we’d explore the Atlanta BeltLine, visit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and spend time in Little Five Points for its art and creative energy. We’d also stop by Ponce City Market before winding down at Piedmont Park to take in the skyline.
Atlanta’s magic lives in its people, culture, and creativity—it’s a city that welcomes you in and keeps you coming back.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This journey hasn’t been mine alone, and I’m very intentional about acknowledging the people who helped bring Peach Rebel to life. I want to dedicate this shoutout to Danielle “Datstagemom” Jackson, owner of JT Talent Management (@datstagemom / @jttalentmgmt), and Ani Reed, owner of Ani Vision (@_anivision). Because of them, Peach Rebel’s very first project became a reality.
They believed in the vision before it had proof, structure, or momentum. They showed up with guidance, creativity, strategy, and encouragement during a stage when Peach Rebel was still an idea finding its footing. Their support wasn’t just professional—it was personal, intentional, and rooted in genuine belief.
I also want to acknowledge the lesson that came with this journey: sometimes strangers will support you harder than the people you expect to. That realization shaped both me and the brand. Peach Rebel is built on resilience, community, and honoring those who show up authentically—and Danielle and Ani embody exactly that.
They deserve recognition not just for what they helped create, but for how they showed up in the process.
