We had the good fortune of connecting with DeAlamar Garner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DeAlamar, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted others that was out there struggling and dealing with anxiety and depression know they were not alone and that they can overcome the obstacles put into their daily lives.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My brand is called “The Voices of Low”. I named it this because I wanted the listeners who didn’t have a voice for themselves to know that we will be that voice and that their not alone in their daily struggles. I think what sets my brand from others is it’s uniqueness, we have heart and we are original. Showing our fans and listeners that anything is possible regardless of where your from, race, religion, and ect. My team and myself are very familiar with the struggles of life. Being the oldest of 5 children in my family, I have had numerous sets backs along the way from not having the money to record my music to overcoming an addiction lifestyle. My mother is my biggest supporter. With God and her on my side to guide, teach, and mold me to the man I am today. If there is anything I wanted to tell the listeners out there is, to always be yourself, work with passion, and trust God’s timing. It’s in that time we see that our work effort reflects our success later down the road.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in a small town in Kentucky where if you want to have a good time you go to the next town over. Bowling Green home of the Western Kentucky HillToppers is where we would go first. We would get tickets to see the college team play basketball or football and/or watch the minor baseball league team HotRods play at the beginning of the week, head down town for some drinks or to the mall to shop and hangout. By the end of the week we will be in Nashville to enjoy its festivities or get tickets to the Nissan Stadium to see the Titans play.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to first give a shoutout to God! All glory to the man upstairs! A shoutout to my parents, mom and dad for always believing in me and my siblings. Shout out to my assistant Kayla Tielking for all her hard work and support. A shoutout to my brothers in Maryland RippleEffectMusic and Grovestheismusic, the whole Katana Worldwide family, and last but not least, my fans and family that support the my brand.
