Meet D’Aona Todd | Make Up Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with D’Aona Todd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi D’Aona, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To me starting my own business was everything I needed. I was overthinking of course and the process was hectic but I overcame too be successful. I had to work hard to get where I wanted to be. Trust the process is the key!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I create beautiful art on beautiful faces. I am most proud and excited about how far I have came while doing make up. Getting where I am was not easy but it was time to let go and let God guide me. I’m a grinder and I don’t let anything stop me. My advice to others is to always push and grind it will definitely pay off in the end.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The best spots in ATL to eat to me are Sanches Eatery, Houston’s, and Big Dave’s Cheesesteak. To hang out we will go to any night club or bar because It’s Atl everything will be turnt. I also like to just do simple things like go shopping and walk around downtown.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out to God! He is the only reason I’m doing what needs to be done. He is my everything and I can’t thank him enough !
