We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Dials and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, what role has risk played in your life or career?
There’s no way around risks in entrepreneurship. I think taking smart risks requires some sort of strategy.

I spent 22 years working in the TV news industry before leaving the industry to grow my brand. While there, I switched job duties 4 times – from directing, to on air talent, to producing, to TV advertising sales. Leaving my job to run a business felt like a huge risk. What some people call risks, I call faith. I put hope and trust in God’s willingness to open doors, close doors, & align me with who and what I need. While trusting in that (it’s hard sometimes, btw), I do everything I can to reach new goals. I try to show God that I’m giving it all I’ve got (imperfectly, of course) – and depend on Him for the rest/most. It’s not a risk if God is involved like that. Risk is about my ability. Faith is about His.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Danielle Renée is a selfcare business focusing on beauty, bath, and skincare products. Most products are gluten free, which means people with a gluten-allergy can use them too. We carry our own line of products, as well as brands from around the U.S. & Europe. We focus on offering products made with safe, natural ingredients.

I’m excited about 2023. A lot of firsts are in store. I don’t want to spoil it.

I’ve overcome challenges by being prayerful and willing to work.

It’s not always easy. Knowing when to rest or completely step away is important.

Along the way, I’m learning it’s worth it to pay for good help. I’m learning there’s a lot I don’t know, but God is for me. I experience peace and confidence when I rest in that.

I hope the world sees my brand as always evolving.
