Meet Daniel Miranda | CEO Daniel M Photography

We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Miranda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Daniel, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Born and raised in California. My dad would film events in the Vietnam war. So we always had cameras laying around the house. He preferred Nikon so that’s what I shoot with now Nikon Z6

What should our readers know about your business?
Well, I’m a professional photographer based in Atlanta GA. I’ve won Atlanta hottest photographer 2x back in 2020 and 2022. Photography is a passion for me not a hobby and my clients say they see it in the product we produce. Was it easy?… Nope.. being a successful photographer with a successful business is not… I repeat is not am over night success story. I’ve learned that if you let your passion drive you, it will open doors for you. Don’t give up ( I have plenty of times) Many ask what type of Photography do I enjoy. I’m a lifestyle, fashion, events, ballerina, church… Heck I don’t all…. Lol

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Here in Atlanta.. some amazing places that I’ve actually taken pictures is Piedmont Park, amazing place the other is Atlanta botanical gardens.. wow.. that place is beautiful..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Wow: so many that have changed my photography in the past 5 years. I don’t wanna make a huge list cause then I’ll forget names. So I will just name 3 ( but there is way more than 3) 1. Allan Henry CEO of ABH Studios. If it wasn’t for him I would have never bought my camera, would have never started studio photography, never would have challenged my self to be better and better every shoot.
2. Joe Mapp CEO I.L.L Shots by Joe Map
I met Joe because I saw him on IG shooting with the Same camera I use, I invited him to a studio collaboration. We’ve been friends ever since. He had a flash photography glass that I had to take. I wanted to get Better in my studio flash photography.. Joe Mapp is on point.
And lastly my Dad.. when I was 12 he was the minister over his sister’s wedding, he said ” why don’t you grab the Nikon and take some pictures” the rest as they say is history.
