We had the good fortune of connecting with D’Andreia Arline and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi D’Andreia, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
A woman of faith is never intimidated by what is happening around her. She knows that beyond her belief, lies many breakthroughs.”

I stand on this quote firmly. If I can be honest, no I can’t recite the Bible from beginning to end, but I know if I trust and believe in him and have the level of faith equivalent to a mustard seed, he going to see me though every trial and tribulation that may come my way. I don’t care what the person ahead of me have. What he has for me is only destined for me and he will allow me to receive it when he knows I’m ready. My faith is all I have to hold on to.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner & operator of Bawse Beauty Studio, located in Dublin, GA. We offer services as such, Professional Spa Facials, Full Body Waxing, Ombre Microshading, etc.

I think what sets us apart from others is, even though we’re a business the concerns you have is what we’re most concerned about. We build a relationship with our clients. We want them to feel like they’re home away from their home. The thing that makes me most proud when I client is leaving, is the smile on their faces. It confirmation that they felt comfortable, they were pleased with the service and they now have a extra boost of confidence.

Being a beauty junkie, I came across a trend, Ombre Microshading/Microblading. I done research about it and thought it would be a great service to bring to my hometown. That’s how I met Mrs. Lisa Bee. I took her Microshading class. So after completing the training I attempt to get a business license. They tried to tell me I would have to become a Tattoo Artist. I was like no that’s not the route I’m trying to go. So I still want to offer this service but I can’t get a business license to be legit. After doing more research I come across Esthetics. At the time I had no clue what it was or what they done. I tried to find a online training. And the only school closest to me was in Atlanta. I have a husband, 2 kids with one being Autistic, and a full-time job, there was no way I would be able to go to school. My husband was against it but it was what I wanted to do and it followed the path I knew I wanted to go in. After doing more research and praying I moved forward and started school. I stepped out on faith. I knew at some point I would have to travel and leave my job but I didn’t care. I wanted to follow my own dream. I recently graduated in July and going to school was the best decision ever. I love what I do.

It was very hard and discouraging. I felt like I was neglecting my children and my husband. It cause financial hardship in my household but I had to stay focused. The vision was given to me, I had to be obedient and go forth.

The main lesson I learned thoughtout the process was to stop living for others and live for yourself. You will be so much happier when you’re doing something you love and it’s yours. You’ll cherish it more.

I’m headed to the top. I’m giving the world everything I have to make sure they have the best. Lol. No but seriously, this is my passion, I love it and I love the impact I have made on other lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Omg I love to eat lol. I love seafood and steak restaurants. We would visit Spondivits, Krab Queenz Atl, STK, Copeland’s, BQE or some others for some great food and entertainment. The MLK tour is definitely a most. On  Wednesday nights we can visit VVS, Fridays, Boogaloo is nice, Saturday night we could walk the strip on Edgewood & Piedmont Park and Rum Punch brunch on Sunday.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Wow!! Yes, I would like to shoutout my sweet loving husband, Kevin Arline. He loves and supports me even when I don’t deserve it. My kids, Amir & Amari, they are the reason I keep going. I want more for them so I have a lot of work to do. To my loving family, thank you for all the love and support you all show me throughout this journey.
