We had the good fortune of connecting with Dana Neacsu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
There was a moment when I realized there is a better and more complete way to practice medicine-combine the best knowledge from the both conventional and alternative medicine worlds

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My practice is an unique blend of ancient medicine techniques, functional medicine cutting edge testing and protocols along with more advanced biohacking devices. We are a small practice by choice-we like to be a part of our patients life while we guide them through their healing journey. We also improve and add new services to our practice based on our patients needs and experiences. I am so proud of our Peak Performance program designed to restore brain health and focus especially for business people or athletes. But my patients also love our functional medicine approach to skin health and well-aging. We are constantly learning and growing-I would say that’s the most important lesson I learned!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Obviously so many places to see and try out I always love to take my friends to one of the local farmers markets especially Dekalb-its amazing how much you can learn about food just in few hours! Walking the beltline or hiking the Stone Mountain if the weather allows. Wine tasting at Chateau Elan is always fun and their spa has some really great services too. Fernbank museum if we want to entertain the kids or of course the Aquarium! For the evening I would love to take them to Fox theater and after that dinner at Masterpiece or any other of the little ethnic gems on Buford Highway. Maybe end up at Eddie’s attic for more fun. Oh and in between maybe a quick stop at Cafe Vendome for their amazing macaroons and coffee!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My daughter- the moment she was born my life changed. I wanted to become healthier, better and be an inspiration for her. Raising her in a very health conscious way inspired me to become a better doctor for my patients too . She is by far my biggest fan and she has an unwavering  trust’ in me!
