We had the good fortune of connecting with Dameon Hagler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dameon, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I was a kid I was a military brat growing up a son of an Army soldier which led to me to moving around a lot. I spent my toddler years in Maryland, Germany, Arizona and Texas. I also joined the US Air Force in which I was stationed at three bases in a four year enlistment. I was stationed at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis New Mexico, Osan Air Base in South Korea and Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins Georgia. I think this is what sparked my passion for travel and I wanted to help others experience travel as well. I started JetSet Lifestyle travel because I was already researching and planning trips for my family and friends to include group and personal travel. I’ve always been budget savvy when planning trips and I wanted to share my knowledge and budget savviness with others so that I can make travel fun, safe and budget friendly for all of my clients. My goal was to help clients live a JetSet Lifestyle without breaking the bank.

What should our readers know about your business?
At JetSet Lifestyle Travel we cater to making the more expensive accommodations more affordable for all. We feel that anyone can live the JetSet Lifestyle by creating customizable travel at affordable prices to amazing destinations enabling you to enjoy vacations like a Jetsetter.

This started out as a hobby and formed into a full business with a little hard work researching the ins and outs of the business. I had to really decide what I wanted to represent as a business and still represent me.

Running my business is not easy because I have a traditional 9 to 5 working as an IT Specialist for the Federal Government, teaching IT courses as an Adjunct Professor for Georgia Gwinnett college and I’m a Dad of 2 kids. I also have my Real Estate License. Juggling all of these responsibilities is challenging but I make it work.

I’ve learned many lessons along the way but the most important lesson I’ve learned is to use my time wisely and to have a plan and try to stick to it.

I want the World to know that JetSet Lifestyle is there for their clients and our first hand experience traveling, as well as extensive training has left us well equipped to be of great service to everyone that is wanting to have that JetSet Lifestyle travel experience.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love this city for its entertainment to include professional sporting events, concerts/festivals and nightlife.

Although I don’t get out much, I do enjoy going to Hawks, Falcons and United games in my spare time. I Also love the fact that Atlanta is such a musical city. I pretty much go to every hot concert/festival the city puts on. Sporting events and concerts are my favorite things to do in the city.

I’ve lived here for a little over 7 years now and I have been thoroughly entertained over the years.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to Shutout to my parents. They really planted the seed in me to travel and to be successful in all of my endeavors. They have encouraged me to be the best me no matter what I do and to do my best at it.

I grew up in Dayton Ohio after my Dad got out of the Army and I saw how hard he had to work to take care of his family. He never got his degree and he always encouraged me to get mine. He was the one that inspired me to join the military and explore the World while gaining discipline.

My Mom has always said I can do anything I put my mind to at an early age and never discouraged me from doing anything I brought to her. She has always been a positive influence in my life even when I doubted some of my decisions she was always there to weigh the pros and cons with me. Some say I’m a Momma’s boy but I just think my bond with my Mom has always been there from day one and continued growing up since my Dad worked a lot while he was military (working long hours and in the field) and post military working at the Post Office.

I’m so grateful for them both as they have both been a catalyst to my success in my Travel business as well as other aspects on my life.
