Hi Damaire, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor in my success is being dedicated , motivated and never giving up on what I want the most . I also have a true passion for my craft , making people feel confident and empowered that’s what I do this for .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a Licensed cosmetologist , I’ve been doing hair since I was 13 I was scared to get into hair because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to build a clientele to be able to survive hair is all I wanted to do I graduated at 18 with a license . I’m so proud of myself for never giving up and taking necessary steps to get to where I am today and it wasn’t easy what I thought I knew about my craft , I didn’t know until I actually put all my energy into it and realized it’s a lot more than just making the hair look amazing but it’s also about the experience . I learned that hard work pays off and I want the world to know that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself and put in the work !

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would go to district in Portsmouth they have really good soul food and music

Versus salon they really helped me perfect my craft more an genuinely wanted me to win .
