Meet Dajzha Little | Director, Photographer, Videographer & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dajzha Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dajzha, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I have grown to not be so afraid to take risks. Risk are opportunities to grow because risk cause you to push yourself out of your comfort zone, which is NOT where you should reside if you plan to grow in your business and career. Risks and the idea of them as a whole have been a very big motivator for me. It puts me in a mental competition with myself and my fears. I always want to prove my fears wrong about the control they have over the moves I make in my career. But I also use risks and the stigma of them, to help keep my evaluation of every situation balanced and to not be so hard on myself. I like to think of risks as win win situations: you either take the risk and succeed or take the risk and discover an area where you can improve. win win.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is something I definitely feel like I used to express what I’m feeling or going through at a certain point in my life. And even a way for me to display what I have learned. What sets my work apart from others is the fact that I really try my best not to pay attention to what everyone around me is doing and pay the most attention to what I feel like is right to make at that time. I pay the most attention to myself and how I feel. More specifically what feeling do I need to express, how am I feeling, and how can I relay that into my films and photography. I am just now breaking the glass into the professional world and i’m just getting started. I got here by hard work and dedication honestly. Despite any challenge, you HAVE to stay dedicated. I had to stream line my focus on my goals to achieve them. And once I did, I made my self proud. Thats an unbeatable feeling and one that I will never stop chasing. I want the world to know that COPACETICVISION will be a world renown name in the industry of film, photography, and entertainment as a whole. The films I make will make you feel a way you’ve never felt before. so prepare yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Atlanta has a ton of great breakfast spots. Some of my favorites consist of: Thrive, Atlanta Breakfast Club, And Mr.Pigs Smoke House just to name a few. Places I would visit: The Aquarium, The High Museum, and the Botanical Garden.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There have been a lot of changes going on in my life but, the women in my life have really held me together even when I felt like I couldn’t. So to my mom, sisters, and homegirls, I just want to say thank you ladies so much very much.
