Hi Daisana Kiara, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Wussup ATL it’s DaBIGBossyyK! I’m originally from a small town called Taylors, SC (OAKVIEW) representing the 864 better known as Greenville,SC. I was raised by a single mother along side my grandmother and great grandmother making me the 4th generation. My up bringing impacted me in so many different ways. My mom had me at the age of 18 and because of that I basically grew up with my mother. Although, I was a grandma’s girl my mother’s sacrifices, hustle and struggles taught me how to survive. As a single mother, her decisions may not have always been the absolute BEST but she made a way out of no way. So, the loving and nurturing did come from the softer side which was the both of my grandmothers but that tough, hood thug it out and hustler in me came from my mother. I am who I am because she didn’t take no for an answer and she stood her ground even if it mean’t collecting some rounds along the way. The real go getter’s

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am TheBossyyEffect, an unlimited being here on earth made of unlimited possibilities, beauty, creativity, art and more. Musically my background started in the church and in college when I did attend. I’ve always been too shy to sing except for my grandmothers, close friends and family and even then still not 100% completely comfortable with performing from the background. If I did post a video I would take them down or sing off camera LOL! I grew to LOVE the uniqueness of my voice more and more and soon realized I had a gift to rap as well. I created my own empire from the many parts and layers of me as I grew professionally and creatively. What is The Bossyy Effect ? CEO & Owner of DKTHEBUTTERFLYEFFECT LLC @DaBIGBossyyK I created @IAMBossyyK @BossyyBeautee, @BossyyBraidz, @BossyyEatz, @BossyyVsg, @BossyyBodyy, @BossyyTalkz, @BossyyDigitalMedia, @DaisanaKiara on every major platform for ALL pages. I am my own network, for me and operated by me. Graphics, Makeup, Hair, you name it! I have a TESTIMONY behind the many layers and parts of me. I had Gastric Sleeve surgery 05.12.2021, and it was LIFE changing. After loosing BOTH of my grandmothers by the age of 25, Grief took a toll on my eating habits and I wanted to take back control so with the sleeve I loss 103 pounds. Thereafter, I shared my journey on TIKTOK @DaBIGBossyyK where I quickly grew over 35k followers and now a total
of over 50k followers

Was it easy, NO because multi-gifted and talented people have a hard time figuring out who they are, what they want to do and of course the how. My best advice is don’t settle for one thing, create a balance that works for you to DO ALL THINGS!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a hookah girl so I would suggest checking out ihookkaatl for the vibes and entertainment. Including some of my favorite other spots like Harolds on Old National, Old Lady Gang, Gocha’s, Nouveau for food and I’m a big kid at heart so Go Carting, Movies, MainEvent is also a vibe. I’m into art museums, the culture experiences, selfie museums, painting, skating you name it. There’s a lot of EVERYTHING in ATL

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to the Rap Icon, Legend and more Da Brat from SoSo Def records and Jesseca Harris-Dupart her wife, owner of Kaleidoscope Hair Care Products in ATLANTA GA. Da Brat & Jess found me after I attended the Millennial Tour 10.16.2021 from a IG story tag of me screaming and hollering in the crowd during the special guest appearance of SoSo Def. I did not know that the next day on 10.17.2021 when they reached out to me, would change my LIFE forever as well as the gift of my VOICE, my reach, creativity, artistry and influence. Due to the loss and still dealing with grief from my grandmother 10.18.17 and great grandmother 10.16.2020, I honestly cancelled all plans from going anywhere because it was the week of their passing anniversaries. Still to this day, I say I am so blessed and highly favored because this was nothing short of a Divine connection and opportunity. Originally, I met Jermaine Dupri at the BET Experience in Los Angeles California 2018. This was also the 25th anniversary of SoSo Def. So, within just 3 years I was now basically rediscovered by DaBrat and I was given an opportunity from Jesseca to work with Kaleidoscope Hair Care Products. I was given the opportunity after being a winner from her #Let’sGrowKaleidoscope Growth Challenge. To be honest, I am a living proof and walking testimony that when GOD has something for you it is FOR YOU. Even if you’re not completely ready to conquer ALL of the many blessings and opportunities right away, you’re still the CHOSEN one. FAVOR ain’t FAIR! Beyond Grateful
