Hi Daija, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to create a business where all women felt beautiful.. I wanted to combine cosmetics and women empowerment. My first product had to be something women love and wear all the time, which is all natural lipgloss. I want women to love themselves as they are and to know makeup is never needed; it just enhances the beauty you already possess.

What should our readers know about your business?
ENHANCED by Vu is an all natural cosmetics line. I decided to start my own cosmetics line to promote women empowerment, and so women can know that makeup is to enhance the beauty you already possess.To start my line off are all natural lipglosses made with essential oils. It took me years to launch my business, between life situations and rebranding it was hard for me. Sometimes I did want to give up, but I just know I will inspire someone one day just like someone did for me. A challenge I suffered was letting my fear stand in front of me, not allowing myself to grow. A lesson I learned is when you have the funds for it get it done! I procrastinated when I actually had the money to launch my business due to being afraid, then lost it all and it took me even longer to launch. I want my all natural brand to be a movement for makeup lovers! I want people to embrace change and live how they want. Don’t let life live you, you live life. Your current situation is not your life’s outcome, and you can over come anything.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For someone visiting I would take them to Amicalola falls in Dawsonville. I’m really big on nature and love site seeing. There are a few restaurants I would love to eat at, and I would definitely go to colony square in Atlanta. They have such a variety of food choice and drinks. A nice dinner would have to be the Sun Dial. Some fun things to do would be top gold, sip n paint, or escape room.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As you get older and grow you realize more and more each day, and without my family pushing me I wouldn’t be where I am. There are other influencers I look up to such as Rihanna Fenty and also De’arra Taylor. Rihanna has inspired me to open my own cosmetics line and also promote women empowerment. De’arra Taylor inspired me to start my own YouTube and not be afraid. Also to never let others or even situations take you away from yourself. Both of these women have moved other women and encourages growth, prosperity, and doing what you desire in life.
