Hi DahLia, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My Brand | Business Impacts the Community or the World By Not Strictly Focusing On “What’s Trending” at the Moment, But ONE’S CONFIDENCE When Purchasing, Receiving & Wearing Our Product.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
  I am a Product Family Based Creator and Reseller that finds interest in my peers (Women, Men & Kids) who enjoy expressing their personality and confidence through what they wear, ESPECIALLY when high quality and for an unbeatable price!

Build A Bag Clothing, Accessories & More, as stated above, does not solely focus on what is “trending”. The MAIN focus is ONE’S CONFIDENCE when purchasing, receiving, and wearing our product. I am most known for my MADDTerial Girl|4 Seasons Purses, Amor Dé Collection featuring my homemade HSO glosses, scrub, oils, lashes, various accessories & the latest clothing styles.

It took me get off my butt and stop treating the “side hustle” as a side hustle & more as a “BUSINESS” in order for my VISION to take off & get where I am today. There were countless days and nights of distancing from friends, staying up late staring at a phone or computer, & reorganizing everything to FINALLY make sense! I literally tried to jump out into the business world without having a STRATEGY or PURPOSE & had to quickly correct myself.

It was not easy by far! It takes a lot of time management & patience and if you know me, both of mine are very thin. To overcome those challenges, I made a promise to myself starting this year, I would SLOW DOWN, breathe, & take a break or my time when I felt I had too much going on. I promised to start back working on activities to better improve my anxiety, start scheduling what free time I did have for my personal life, & what time I needed to dedicated to the business.

I also genuinely care how my customers view my business & how they are treated when inquiring or shopping with me. Great customer service is KEY, so I always want to always make sure I am in the correct|best head space to make my customers comfortable when shopping with me. I go over any possible questions or concerns they may have retaining to any products or orders, & even provide direct links of products on the site. I make sure to check in when items have been delivered to make sure they have been physically received & so for. It all helps out in the long run. The bond you create with your clients not only builds the TRUST, but the RELATIONSHIP.

I am very proud to say that I can truly uphold & run a business, as well as finally knowing what it takes for a business to be strategically planned, color schemed, marketed & targeted to the correct audience. With that being said, I am now working on finishing up my REVAMP in order to move over to my REBRAND next year 2023.

OVERALL, the biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is NEVER downplay your Chapter 1 because of how “GREAT” someone’s Chapter 2 may look. What is for them is strictly for them & what’s for you is COMING. You have to STAY CONSISTENT, MANIFEST & PUSH!

What I want the world to know about my brand, my story & myself is that I AM COMING. This MY YEAR & Build A BAG Will Not Stop Until We Are GLOBAL. It is ONLY UP FROM HERE.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend to come out and visit me in my current area(Valdosta, GA), off the top of my mind, I’d have 5 TOP PLACES I’d love for my friend to get out & experience with me while in town.
REMERTON Bars would definitely be one of the five on the list. Remerton has a strip of various bars with a mix crowd, up to date music, games, great food, & better drinks! A great area to vibe, network, meet new people & just enjoy yourself!
  The second best place out of the five in the area to visit is Jac’s Lanes (Bowling Alley). Not only can you bowl, but there is a private adult bar with billiards tables, jukeboxes, arcade games & fresh food being served to order! A great night for drunk bowling festivities if you ask me 

Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot about new festivities & eateries Downtown Valdosta. Axe throwing, rolled ice creamery, lunches, brunches, shopping & more would be a great first time experience for the both of us. It would give us a chance to slow down to get learn one another more & just enjoy each other’s time while we have it.
My fourth decision would be taking a quick road trip to Ashburn, Ga (45 mins-1hr) just to eat Shoney’s breakfast buffet. I haven’t had a chance to eat it since being maybe 7 years old & it is literally one of FAVORITE |BEST breakfast buffets around Southern Ga(in my opinion). It would be a great way to start the day!
Lastly, considering our Valdosta Mall is very bare minimum, the fifth place I would like for us to visit would be Tallahassee, FL. Tallahassee’s Governor’s Square Mall offers 2 stories with various stores & eateries , such as, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Cinnabon, Rainbow, Charley’s Philly Steaks, Pandora & MORE. After the mall, It’d be awesome to venture out to fun day activities. Sky Zone, Urban Air, and many Escape Rooms are all in the area. Having “nothing” to do would be the last thing to cross your mind while visiting this city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
  I would LOVE to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT|THANK YOU to Emily Reynolds, Liasia Villars, and Shakyla Petty. These 3 ladies play a HUGE part in my business life & where I am today.

Emily is the very first person who ever helped me find interest in the business world in 2019. She helped me begin my brand by providing me with my very first course videos & training on how to become a business reseller. She taught me the heart of the game. I’ll forever thank you Em’ for believing in me & giving me that push to get out there.
Liasia is not only my business mentor, but someone who I consider a close sister as well. As a Business Mentor/Graphic Designer/Etc., she has been helping me rebrand my whole vision for Build A Bag. Within almost a YEAR, she has brought MY VISION to life & I couldn’t be any happier. The way she pushes me to actually think outside the box when it comes to my ideas, media content & life in general is just beyond measures. Day by day, Liasia has done everything in her power to help me work on creating an outstanding foundation. I will forever appreciate her for everything!

Shakyla started out as a complete stranger. Being her everyday Business Coach self, I stumbled upon her on Facebook Live & immediately knew the drive she had was what I needed in my life. She gives off so much PUSH, positivity, knowledge, & actually acknowledges her audience & peers. Never did I know months down the line she would be become my close business sister & we’d be meeting one another on my first travel business event in Chicago, IL. The business coach in her stays on top of me & my strategic brand thoughts, target audience, marketing, & so much more! The sister in her loves me beyond measures & is always there no matter when or what. I know for facts she’ll never leave me lost on either occasion.
