We had the good fortune of connecting with Cymone Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cymone, what principle do you value most?
The principles that mean the most to me in my business, honesty and transparency—they’re the foundation of what do. I believe in treating people the way I’d want to be treated, especially when buying or selling a home. It’s not just about making a deal; it’s about building trust and forming genuine connections.
Being transparent with clients sometimes means delivering news they might not want to hear. Yet, I’ve found that honesty, even when it’s tough, is deeply appreciated in the long run. It’s about being upfront and sincere, ensuring clients feel informed and valued every step of the way.
I also hold a firm belief that good things happen when you lead with a good heart and genuinely care about others. Doing right by people isn’t just good ethics—it’s good business. A reputation built on integrity and kindness is a business that last.
Accountability goes hand in hand with this. I’m not afraid to admit when I don’t have all the answers or when I’ve made a mistake. Owning up and making it right strengthens relationships and builds trust. In the end, it’s all about being real, being reliable, and always striving to do better. Transparency and accountability aren’t just values—they’re the keys to a lasting business.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a real estate professional in the Metro Atlanta area, and I absolutely love what I do. One of my greatest joys is working with first-time home buyers. It’s incredibly rewarding to educate the community and help people achieve their dreams of becoming homeowners.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is that not everyone is your client, and that’s perfectly okay. Knowing when to walk away is crucial because, as I always say, not all money is good money. This understanding has been vital to my growth and success.
Speaking of growth and success recently, I reached a new milestone in my career by securing a new construction community in Acworth, GA. This achievement was super exciting for me, and I can’t wait to see what other opportunities lie ahead. This journey has been filled with growth and learning, and I’m truly grateful for every moment of it.
I’m incredibly thankful for the flexibility of my job and the opportunity to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Helping families find their perfect homes brings me immense satisfaction. I feel blessed to have this career and wouldn’t want it any other way. I’m so grateful for the chance to do what I love everyday and to be a part of such a vibrant and diverse community.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Over the years, I’ve grown to love reading, and my book list is quite long. However, there’s one book that truly stands out: “Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice” by Dennis Kimbro and Napoleon Hill. This book has impacted my perspective on life and success. It drove home the idea that there are no excuses.
The stories are filled with individuals who faced immense obstacles and adversities, yet they never allowed anything to stop them from achieving their dreams. Their journeys are incredibly inspiring, showing that with enough drive and desire, you can overcome any challenge.
No matter how many times they heard “no,” no matter the lack of resources or money, these people persevered. It’s a powerful reminder that anything is possible. Age, gender, religion, disabilities—none of these can hold you back if your passion and determination are strong enough. This book is a testament to the power of resilience and the belief that we are all capable of achieving greatness, regardless of the hurdles in our path.
