Hi Curtis, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Being authentic! People enjoy relatable material, so I use my own experiences and the experiences of others around me to shape the stories I write! People appreciate it because it’s real, it’s me!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Becoming an author was extremely difficult but I think that’s what makes it worth it in the end. I faced many challenges in the process one of the biggest was self doubt. I had to stop thinking no one would ever listen to my story then I realized of course they will I’m not the only person fighting loss, low self esteem, feeling depressed, overthinking and the fear of just getting started! I want the world to know you are not alone and don’t have to be their are millions with similar experiences let’s connect and overcome together

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The zoo, the aquarium I personally love art museums and you got to end the night with a nice steak for dinner chophouse, Ruth Chris etc…

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shoutout my mother Michelle Spears! May she Rest In Peace.. but she was a living example of hard work! She showed me how to work hard and never make excuses! She also had a caring spirit.. that’s how I got into mentoring the youth!
