We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Zachery and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtney, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the reason my business has been so successful in such a short period of time is due to the customer service I provide my customers. I treat every customer I have like they are my only customer. I only take on a certain number of clients per month to ensure I am able to give each of my customers the level of service they deserve. This leads to higher customer satisfaction and more referrals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have always done graphic design work. I was a photographer for 10 years and it just came with the territory. I started by business based on doing logos and branding photography. I found my niche out of necessity. I got married in 2020 (great time to plan a wedding! LOL). When I was looking for an option for wedding invitations everything was either really cheap and generic, or really expensive and custom. I thought there HAD to be an option in the middle. But, after hours of research there weren’t many options. So, I decided to create my own. I designed my own wedding invitations, had them printed, and posted them in a bridal group on Facebook just to show them off. My inbox blew up! I had so many people messaging me wanting me to design their wedding invitations. Before I knew it I was creating an Etsy shop and accepting orders. I pride myself on creating a quality product for a reasonable price that is affordable on almost most any budget.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I think I would take them to Hobnob and walk around Atlantic Station. The Painted Duck is one of my favorite spots. A trip to Marietta Square Market is always a great time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife, Kayla. She is always so supportive of me pursuing my dreams. She is also the worlds best unpaid assistant. No matter what I ask her to do, she is there to help. From post office runs to stuffing envelopes, I really couldn’t ask for more.
