We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Woods and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Courtney, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
At PC Media Techs we don’t just design visually appealing content, we emphasize the importance of first designing a solid foundation and then structuring your content for best results and digital overflow! Our website and promotional design agency was created to help businesses, non-profits, and other organizations that are struggling to establish or maintain their brand online. We’re on a mission to help business minds and creative entrepreneurs become multi-faceted, successfully operating multiple brands and streams of income online with ease.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our Approach sets us apart because we don’t just design websites and visually appealing content. We emphasize the importance of first focusing on designing a solid foundation to grow on, and then structuring your web pages and content for best results and digital overflow! Our organizational-focused solutions help brands produce well-defined internal processes for expert decision-making. This is the top reason why we were recognized and awarded for two consecutive years at UAB’s Top 25 for Excellence in Business Awards. The latter of which we also took home the award for the 3rd Fastest Growing Business Under 10 Mil.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Among all the amazing things to do, places to go, and food to eat in Birmingham, Alabama we’d have to add a visit to the Civil Rights Museum somewhere in the itinerary.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
One of our long-term clients and non-profit leader, Lorenzo P. Lewis, founder of The Confess Project of America has encouraged us to expand our efforts to help more people and advised us on the best possible routes for us to take. PC Media Tech’s emerging non-profit sector is centered on providing tech-related tools, resources, supplies, education, and guidance to youth, brands stuck in the high growth phase, and senior citizens. Even with the growth of our for-profit side and evolution to add a non-profit component, Entrepreneurship as a Black woman in Birmingham, Alabama is not without challenges like building relationships and securing partners and funding. looking to improve on those challenges through partnering with a local non-profit in the community. We are currently searching for the right fiscal sponsor partnership that will allow us to become a fiscal agent able to serve the community on a greater scale,
