We had the good fortune of connecting with Constance & Grace Pierce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Constance & Grace, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Sprinkle Grace is a Speciality Online Retail Store. Sprinkle Grace’s Mission is to Sprinkle Grace and Spread Love to Little Girls, Their Moms, and Their Grandmothers; Through Clean Beauty, Lifestyle, and Wellness Products. The faces behind Sprinkle Grace are a 6-year-old firecracker and her risk-taker mother. Sprinkle Grace started two years ago when we followed our hearts and spent 30 days in California, exploring Grace’s acting and modeling career. It was there that we decided to launch our own business, solving our skin and holistic needs through essential oil rollers, lip balm, and body butter. It is my goal to teach Grace that it is better to take risks rather than to say “what if”. My mother followed her heart and opened my town’s first African American Florist and eventually became my town’s first African American Clerk of Supreme Court. My parents raised us by their actions, which showed us how to take risks and we will take on the torch building our own legacies. One day we will follow Clarie’s (retail store) lead and people will find us inside of their favorite upscale mall, serving little girls, their moms, and their grandmothers.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sprinkle Grace is a Speciality Online Retail Store. Sprinkle Grace’s Mission is to Sprinkle Grace and Spread Love to Little Girls, Their Moms, and Their Grandmothers; Through Clean Beauty, Lifestyle, and Wellness Products. Our beauty products provide moisture, our lifestyle products provide confidence, and our wellness products help keep you healthy. I am most proud of Sprinkle Grace herself, she is always up to make sure the business is successful. It is not easy to always work with such a young child but she never seems to surprise me. I would tell others to allow them to have their moments, relax, relate, and release. Sprinkle Grace makes sure that we give back to others in the community through donations and random acts of kindness. This year she also wanted to make sure that we recycled, in turn, we started picking up trash while inviting friends. A dollar of each sale of Sprinkle Grace goes to One Tree, a non-profit. Finally, it is also our goal that 80% of our packaging is recyclable or reusable.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Whew, we live in the country lol but for a week-long trip….. We would definitely go downtown Fayetteville to Circa 1800 for Brunch, shop at Turner Lane (they sell Sprinkle Grace Products), and head to the Botanical Gardens. A trip to Asheville Zoo is also in order as a trip for the kiddos. The bulk of our time would be at Ocean Isle, relaxing at the beach, eating any and everything with laughter.
